NFL Week 12 Odds and Betting Lines: Packers Slim Home Faves Against Visiting 49ers

With six teams on a bye, the NFL Week 12 odds feature one of the season's lightest slates but is still loaded with plenty of divisional matchups.

Kicking off the week is an AFC North affair between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns on TNF, while there are also Cowboys/Commanders, Vikings/Bears, and Cardinals/Seahawks among the seven divisional clashes this week.

The schedule is highlighted by the 49ers venturing to Lambeau to face the Packers, as well as a Monday Night Football game between the Ravens and the Chargers.

The Steelers head to Cleveland for Thursday Night Football off a huge divisional win over the Ravens in Week 11. Pittsburgh has looked great with Russell Wilson under center and opened against Jameis Winston and the struggling Browns as 5.5-point favorites. However, that has dropped two points to 3.5. The total hit the betting board at 40 on Sunday afternoon and has done nothing but crater. It sits at 36.5 on Wednesday morning.

The Bucs and Giants are both coming off byes in Week 11 and will butt heads Sunday afternoon at the Meadowlands. The G-Men come into this contest on a five-game losing skid, while Tampa Bay has dropped four in a row (against a gauntlet of difficult opponents). Books opened this matchup with the Bucs as 3.5-point road favorites and a total of 43. Tampa is now -5.5 and the total is as low as 41.5.

The Panthers are coming off a bye week and will host the Chiefs in Week 12. Kansas City is fresh off its first loss of the season in a very entertaining contest in Buffalo. Sportsbooks opened the Chiefs as huge 11.5-point road favorites with a total of 41.5. Those marks sit at -11 and 43 as of Wednesday afternoon.

The Vikings head to Soldier Field in Chicago for their second consecutive road game on Sunday afternoon. Minnesota easily handled a bad Tennessee Titans side in Week 11, while the Bears lost a heartbreaker to the Packers on a game-ending blocked field goal. Sportsbooks opened the Vikes as 4-point road favorites with a total of 40.5. Minnesota is now universally -3.5, with the total shrinking to 39.

The Patriots host the Dolphins at Gillette Stadium coming off a tough home loss in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Rams. The Dolphins handled their business in a big win over the Las Vegas Raiders and will open as 7.5-point road favorites (now -7) in this AFC East showdown. The Ravens opened at -3 for this Monday Night matchup against the Chargers. That has trimmed slightly to -2.5 across the board after Baltimore's loss to Pittsburgh and Los Angeles' SNF win over Cincinnati. Perhaps it would have narrowed more had the Bengals not nearly mounted a comeback. The total opened at 47 but has shot up to 50 as of Wednesday.
