Favorites to win the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award
Jayden Daniels (-400 to -550)
A dual-threat force who boasts the best athleticism at the position, Jayden Daniels' potential has been on full display for the Washington Commanders.
Currently holding a 99.6 passer rating and a 10-3 TD/INT ratio, Daniels has been locked in for a Commanders team that is 7-4. The reigning Heisman winner has also racked up 482 yards on the ground, trailing only Lamar Jackson (584).
Bo Nix (+300 to +400)
Bo Nix has made the biggest leap over the last few weeks, vaulting to second on the board for the 6-5 Denver Broncos.
After initially struggling with accuracy and reading coverages, the Broncos quarterback has found his groove, showcasing more of the skillset that took scouts by storm during his time at Oregon. Nix is coming off his best outing as a pro, completing 28-of-33 passes for 307 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-6 drubbing of Atlanta.
Brock Bowers (+1,800 to +3,000)
Despite the Las Vegas Raiders' struggles to move the ball consistently, Brock Bowers has emerged out of the chaos as a steady option for Luke Getsy's offense.

Favorites to win the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award
Jared Verse (-160 to -200)
A two-time first-team All-American, Jared Verse wreaked havoc in the trenches for Florida State over the last two years, collecting 18 sacks and 29.5 TFL.
Falling into the arms of the Los Angeles Rams at No. 19, the 23-year-old pass rusher immediately addresses the noticeable hole left by the recently retired Aaron Donald. Verse has really made his presence known over his last four games, tallying 3.5 sacks and eight solo tackles.
Quinyon Mitchell (+210 to +250)
A two-time All-MAC corner at Toledo, Quinyon Mitchell has bolstered the Philadelphia Eagles' secondary opposite of Darius Slay.
Holding a 73.2 coverage grade at PFF and limiting star wideout Terry McLaurin to just one catch on TNF, Mitchell has helped Philly's defense surrender just 173.2 passing yards per game.
Laiatu Latu (+900 to +2,500)
Despite a checkered injury history, Laiatu Latu's dominance at UCLA convinced Chris Ballard to select the talented pass rusher with the 15th overall pick.
Latu recorded his best start in the Indianapolis Colts latest road win over the Jets, generating a sack on Aaron Rodgers and combining with Kwity Paye for 10 tackles, four TFLs, and five QB hits. Sporting a 68.9 pass-rushing grade at PFF, Latu currently ranks 45th out of 114 qualified edge rushers.

NFL Offensive ROY betting trends
• Of the last 20 winners of the NFL OROY Award, 17 were drafted in the first round.
• While quarterback is an extremely difficult position to excel at as a rookie, 10 of the last 20 OROY winners played the position, including four QBs that were selected first overall in the draft.
• Running backs have won four of the last 10 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Awards. However, in recent years when top rookie RBs have gone head-to-head against top QBs for OROY honors, they've often come out on the losing end. Ezekiel Elliot led the NFL in rushing in 2016 but lost the OROY to his teammate Dak Prescott, while Kyler Murray took home the hardware over Josh Jacobs in 2019.
• No offensive lineman has ever won the award despite recent linemen like Joe Thomas, Matt Kalil, Jack Conklin, Ryan Ramcyzk and Quenton Nelson all making the Pro Bowl in their first year.

NFL Defensive ROY betting trends
• Of the last 34 winners of the NFL DROY Award, an incredible 31 were drafted in the first round. Of the three winners that weren't first-rounders (DeMeco Ryans, Kendrell Bell, and Darius Leonard), all were still selected within the Top-40 picks.
• Seven of the last 18 DROY winners played linebacker. Two others (Von Miller and Shawne Merriman) were listed at LB but would count as edge players in modern NFL defensive schemes. That said, that number is heavily inflated by four straight DROY-winning linebackers from 2006 to 2009. Over the last 10 years, only two LBs have taken home the award.
• Four of the last eight DROY winners played college ball for Ohio State. Three of those (the Bosa brothers and Chase Young) were edge rushers.
