From what I have read and heard part of this is due to the fact that there is less parity this year in the NFL. The bottom feeders are awful and the chasm between them and the mediocre teams might be bigger than the one between the good teams and mediocre teams. They compared it to the NBA where there are usually a handful of teams competing for the title and the rest are either mediocre or stink. The only difference is that there are fewer games in the NFL so the good teams can¡¯t take games off like they do in the NBA.

You mean the game where the kicker missed 3 FGs?! That one was a 1:00 pm start. This one is after 4:00 pm. The game against Buffalo, like the Rams, was in awful weather and Purdy sucks in bad weather. What other reservations, besides “they stink,” you got, Einstein?

Injuries on offense, yes. But the defense is key. And they should be ready to go. Turning Tia over and giving the offense a short field is what we are hoping for here. And as far as the line goes, it is perfect. The oddsmakers are only looking at matchups, injuries and public perception of these teams. They are not interested in tangential motivational angles that 90% of people will overlook or not consider.
