Lions still have the best offensive line in the NFL. Ton of talent on offense Jahmyr Gibbs add Craig Reynolds to take over for Montgomery Jameson Williams Sam Laporta St. Brown Patrick they can put the points on the board may have to win every game 44-41.

@ RavensOsNHoes easy big fella the Lions as of yesterday were favoured to win the SB and should have been there last year saying they will fade and talking about them like they are the old Lions of old is just plain ridiculous. Just a plain stupid comment of Detroit will fade like they always do do you even watch any football.

David Montgomery gone for the season surgery today for torn ACL MacNeill done for the season torn MCL Davis broken jaw out 6 to 8 weeks all in yesterdays game. Defense just so decimated and losing Montgomery out of the two headed running attack boy if they play through all this it will be amazing if one they get the #1 seed and move through the playoffs. Too bad so much promise.

NHL has a salary cap its time MLB has one. No player in ANY SPORT is worth these megga contracts. Baseball and Basketball are totally out of hand and a few in football are the same way. As of yesterday they are talking 710 to 730 mil for Soto so I guess the Dodgers got a hell of a bargain on Ohtani because he is literally two stars wrapped in one looking at Soto's expected salary Ohtani should be 1.5 billion yup salary cap needed. |

Shohei two of the best players in one

If he gets 65 they should redo Ohtani's and give him 1 billion nobody is worth anywhere near the money of Shohei.

No damn way he is worth the money of Shohei Ohtani. Shohei has already made the Dodgers back 1/2 his contract money in one year worth every penny of his contract Soto is a good ball player just not worth a contract equalled to Shohei.

Few injuries but they are all on the defense (still have enough great defensive players) and the best offense and offensive line in the entire league they are ready for a shoot out if need be. Love their 12th man too.

@tootskie Damn I didn't realize that DJ Reader is out with a shoulder injury that changes this game a lot thought he would help along with LB Jack Campbell to stop the run of Jacobs. We shall see I still think GB caught the Lions a little flat footed last Thanksgiving Day the Lions will be ready to play and the 12th man will be a huge advantage. Should be a great game and if you bump this thread after the game and GB wins I will be in here to message it. |

Just a note and I know the Lions have injuries on defense but they still have a defense. Two animals in Brian Branch and Joseph Kerby who are ball hawks along with Terion Arnold. Reader in the middle of the D Line who along with LB Jack Campbell Za' Darius Smith who said he can't wait to play against his old Packer team. And if your looking at the game from an offensive stand point nobody has the talent the Lions have or a better offensive line. Then Ford Field and the wild Lions fans will be a huge motivator for the Lions. tootskie make sure you come back in to bump the thread when the LIons go to 12-1

@ Yanasaur a great spot for Houston how about a great spot for the Lions they get to play in a dome because I know they can't win outside in the elements oh no that's right they won at GB last week in 45 MPH winds and a downpour and I mean a downpour the whole game. Absolutely the best Offensive Line in the league the best Offense in the league and now with the addition of Za'Darius Smith from Clev a half decent pass rusher to add to their like I said an ever improving D.

The reason like I said LaPorta hasn't looked so impressive this year is they use him and their other TE in Brock Wright to basically do all the blocking they have so much offense. And anyone who thinks Houston can handle this team this week good luck with that. Everyone picked Green Bay last week to handle them and all the Lions did in probably the worst conditions of any game this year is toy with the Pack. They had their huge disappointment in the NFC championship game last year they are not going to let a team like Houston stop their winning ways to capture home field through out in the NFC this year. @TJZags598 I really think the only one that is better than LaPorta is Kelce because they actually use him as a TE and not a blocker on 3/4 of their plays like the Lions use LaPorta.

The really funny thing about the Lions Offense is they have probably the 2nd or 3rd best TE in the league in Sam LaPorta they have so much offense they basically only use him for blocking.

KC has a great team but the Lions are the best team right now in the NFL. And to say Houston is going to handle them in SNF good luck with that, let the game speak for itself and adding Za 'Darius Smith just another nugget to an ever improving defense. The Offense speaks for itself. |

In his weekly picks he says all the favs win this week except the Lions who get caught on SNF by the Texans. Pete still likes to think or is waiting to see the Lions not show up for a game. This team is totally posessed and the Texans are not about to stop them. That's it Pete keep waiting for the 2021 Lions to show up. |
