I like them. Not sure how much I like them. But I do think they will be a live dog with hedgehog opportunities in game. Minnesota is a paper tiger, in my opinion.

You're using story and non-factual words to cover something that is true. What is true is that the opponent of the Bears is a better team this season. I'll take my chances with MIN at -7. Anytime we need to use a story to hide facts, we are lying to ourselves. That's why, in negotiation, the use of facts and data destroys any other argument or frame.

They are in a better spot than they were on Thanksgiving when they nearly took out the Lions. Each game is its own animal. This is a division game on prime time with the dog getting 7 points, so you can throw all your statistics out the window.

The season is over for the Bears. Firing coaches in season hasn¡¯t worked out very well very often. The Bears look cracked and cooked against a bad Niners team. I couldn¡¯t back them anymore this season, especially with Caleb Williams being their best player 

I like the Falcons with Crosby out for the season. He was the heart and soul of that defense. 

Chicago may cover and I would be very surprised if they won, but this isn't the same Vikings team from 2-years ago that went 13-4 which was a fluke.  They have talent all around the field, a serviceable QB, well coached, and overall good vibes coming out of Minnesota.  They are real this season.  Chicago is the opposite.  Poorly coached, offensive line issues, an overrated rookie QB, and bad energy coming from their locker room and upper management.  Team is a fucking mess like the NY Giants.

Never count the Bears out. That defense can score points when you least expect it!

Line definitely seems short at -6.5.

They were just -6 against Atlanta so you would think they would be at least -7.5 at home. I think they were -3.5 on road.

I agree, I think the line is a tad short and would be on the other side of the 7.  Amazingly, the Bears have lost 7 in a row.  The Commanders hail mary victory must have really gotten to their heads.  This game reeks of a Vikings SU win and a Bears ATS cover.   

this is interesting.   For as bad as the bears are, they have good turnovers numbers, thanks to the defense and also Caleb not throwing too many INTs

the Bills and Steelers lead with +18 turnovers.   Bears are +10 for the season, the only losing team with such good numbers

2 of the bears wins can be directly attributed to turnovers (titans, rams)   Without that happening, their record would be 2-11 right now.    They have the stats of a 2 win team.    The offense avg is 4.5 yards per play, dead last in the NFL.  The defense allows avg 436 yards per game in the last 3 games, dead last in the league.   Their positive turnover differential is helping to mask an otherwise very bad team

 Been watching the Bears since 1966. Most years their defense is stingy/explosive. Offense is the problem.

Pump the brakes folks, the Bears don't have a defensive coordinator. Eberflus is gone. The one and only good thing he did was a call a good defense.

The Bears passing game coordinator became their OC 4 weeks ago, he then became their HC 2 weeks ago.

This staff is a fucking dumpster fire. 

If you saw what Kyle Shanahan did to them, do not underestimate Kevin O'Connell. He comes from the Shanahan tree.

The Bears have a lot of players in their prime right now. They will be making business decisions on the field when it comes to their health. 

And BTW, if you didn't see the Lions lost yesterday. The Vikings still have a chance to win the nfc north

 Better team most often wins but you are right, motivation is more important as to who covers the spread. Which will play to its full potential this week. 

Lions losing yesterday opens the door for a possible high stakes showdown minny/detroit last regular season game for not only the nfc north title but for home field advantage throughout the nfc playoffs. if minny wins out and philly loses 1 of their last 3 games minny gets hfa . right now detroit holds the tiebreaker over both  philly and minny  and philly holds the tiebreaker over minny.

The Bears showed zero motivation in SF last week after their coach got fired. A spot where historically teams play their ass off.

If this game was in Chicago sure. Both teams are going to be fired up , I don¡¯t see how this is chicagos Super Bowl tbh. Maybe next week when they host the lions that would seem like more of a ¡°Super Bowl¡±

And like someone stated above since the firing of Eberflus that defense has fallen off the rails, which was always the thing that gave these Vikings trouble the past few years. It¡¯s had a negative effect on their best part of the team kind of like the jets getting rid of Saleh. Primetime games anything could happen for sure on a normal NFL game but I¡¯d be more thoughtful of an upset if the bears were home. The Vikings ¡°white out¡± night is tonight the crowd is going to be fired up especially with the lions loss yesterday 

Chicago Bears left tackle Braxton Jones ruled out. Will be replaced by Larry Borom.
