Pascal Siakam scored 12 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter as the visiting Toronto Raptors defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 128-113 on Monday night.
Toronto coach Nick Nurse was ejected when he picked up his second technical foul with 3:02 left in the third quarter. The Raptors, who were down by 10 points after the technical free throw, responded with a 28-5 surge to take the lead.
Fred VanVleet also scored 32 points and added nine assists for the Raptors, and Norman Powell had 29 points. Chris Boucher chipped in with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Former Raptors player Jonas Valanciunas, who had 18 points and 14 rebounds in the first half, finished with season bests of 27 and 20, respectively.
Dillon Brooks scored 22 points for the Grizzlies, who have lost four straight. Ja Morant added 18 points, Kyle Anderson had 15, Desmond Bane had 13 points and Grayson Allen 12.
Toronto guard Kyle Lowry left the game with back spasms in the first quarter and did not return. The Raptors also were without OG Anunoby (left calf strain).
Brandon Clarke (sore right calf) and De'Anthony Melton (sore left shoulder) were out for Memphis.
The Grizzlies, who led by 10 points during the third quarter, took a three-point lead into the fourth quarter.
The Raptors scored the first 11 points of the fourth quarter. Their lead reached 13 when Siakam made a layup with 7:40 to play. VanVleet made two free throws with 1:08 to play to restore the lead to 13.
Toronto led 35-34 after the first quarter.
VanVleet's 3-pointer with 3:50 to play in the second quarter gave Toronto a six-point lead. The Grizzlies scored the next 10 points to lead by four, and Memphis led 70-63 at halftime.
The Raptors cut the lead to four, but the Grizzlies stretched it back to nine on a layup by Valanciunas with 3:02 remaining in the third. The lead reached 10 when Allen converted the free throw on Nurse's technical foul.
The Raptors cut the lead to one on VanVleet's 17-footer with 1:29 to play in the third. The Grizzlies led 97-94 after three quarters.
