When the Milwaukee Bucks started the season 2-8, many thought their season was dead in the water. It wasn't long before Giannis Antetokounmpo trade rumors were being spewed and the Damian Lillard trade was deemed an absolute dud.
However, the Bucks now have the challenge of defending their home court tonight against an Atlanta Hawks team that has won four straight, including two against the Cavaliers who have just one other loss on the year.
Over that stretch, the Hawks have ranked third in the league in net rating, which includes the fifth-ranked defensive rating after having posted the eighth-worst mark up until that point.
The Hawks have also beaten the Bucks on the boards all year, posting the 11th-best rebounding rate compared to Milwaukee's 21st. Atlanta even plays more cohesively on offense, ranking fourth in assist rate to the Bucks' 27th.
Although Milwaukee's run has been magical, all great things eventually come to an end.
