Nolan Arenado hit a two-run, walk-off homer in the ninth inning, and the Colorado Rockies rallied to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-6 on Wednesday in Denver.
Ryan McMahon also homered to help the Rockies avoid a three-game sweep.
Arizona closer Archie Bradley (3-5) hit Trevor Story leading off the bottom of the ninth with the Rockies trailing 6-5. Arenado hit the next pitch down the line in left to give the Rockies the win.
It was the third walk-off homer of his career and first since Father's Day in 2017. It was his 27th long ball of the season.
Ketel Marte had four hits, and Eduardo Escobar and Wilmer Flores homered for Arizona.
Arizona starting pitcher Robbie Ray left the game in the third inning with lower back spasms. Ray went out for the bottom of the third and threw one warmup pitch and winced, bringing out the trainer. He left the game, and Matt Andriese came on and pitched three innings.
Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said postgame, "Robbie is doing OK. ... We're hopeful that he is not going to need to miss much time. He's going to get a scan, and I'll have an update for you tomorrow. We're optimistic it's not going to be a big miss."
Arizona took the lead in the top of the ninth when pinch hitter Jake Lamb drew a two-out walk against Scott Oberg (6-1) and scored on Marte's blooper to left.
The Diamondbacks jumped out to an early lead for the second straight game. Tim Locastro led off the first with a single, Marte doubled him home, and Flores drove in Marte with a two-out single.
The Rockies got one in the second when Ian Desmond walked, moved to third on Raimel Tapia's single and scored when Arizona first baseman Christian Walker misplayed Garrett Hampson's sacrifice-bunt attempt.
Colorado tied it in the third when Story scored on Yonder Alonso's groundout.
Arizona got the lead back in the sixth when Marte led off with a double and Escobar homered to left-center. It was his 27th of the season. One out later, Flores lined his third homer to left to make it 5-2.
Colorado came right back in the bottom of the inning. Alonso led off with a single, and Tapia singled one out later. McMahon pinch-hit for Hampson and homered to left to tie it. It was his 14th of the season.
