Again, no.  He is NOT a duping them. Remember the definition of a ¡®confidence man¡¯?

Correct.  It had nothing to do with the second time he ran.  That was pretty much all I was interested in with you in this thread.  Again, the rest is palaver and a waste of time to discuss.  You can never agree with the Left on those issues. 
I know a few other folks that have, and say they have, voted Republican. But I can never get a straight answer on why they decided on Biden instead of Trump the second time around ¡ª based solely on results and policy and economic performance.  I have even tried to help them by suggesting maybe Wuhan Flu and the resulting slowdown in the economy caused this.  
But they will not say this is it.  They have no other good reason other than they do NOT like Trump as a person.  
So, in the end they are willing to take steps backwards and elect a Far-Left, old senile guy just to salve their conscious for not voting for someone that sends out mean tweets and speaks his mind, not that he is a proven criminal, even though they badly WANT him to be ¡ª instead of NOT wanting him to be.  Who roots FOR that in their President instead of HOPING it is just anti-Trump propaganda from the Left and the Media?

So, I have to just assume these folks are not convicted in their commitment to what they claim is best for the country by their past voting history.   They are simply easily swayed to use emotions instead of logic ¡ª this is the case almost always with the Left.  I was hoping it was NOT the case with the Psuedo-Right.  But I am thinking I was wrong.  
Am I wrong?  Are there other reasons for a lack of fortitude?

I beg you ¡ª please, please research this if you truly do not know.  Please do this and get back to me.

This is the exact sort of things folks like you, that have voted for Republicans, need to know about and study and understand.  
There is no need for the Leftists to look into them ¡ª it is solely the Independent-type voters that need to see these things.  
You guys are the ones that need to be swayed before it is too late.  This is NOT just about Trump but about other elections ¡ª nationally and locally. 
Critically thinking about issues and results and research is so important.  You cannot just listen to the Media ¡ª it is agenda-driven.  You have to think for yourself.  
Otherwise, later on down the road you will slide further Left and you know those are NOT the policies you want whether nationally or locally.

 Last year I took him to the beach's downtown a lot,and the part he likes the most is the train.You can tell he loves it just by looking at him,we go up to the upper level and he's sitting up in his seat,just checking out what's going on outside the window,smiling the whole time.Usually he can't sit still for more then 2 seconds,on the train it's like he's a totally different kid.

 Ya the Cubbie faithful are definitely pretty loyal.And it is definitely a fun atmosphere going down there to see a game,with all the bars around the area,and just all the people out and about.The poor White Sox try as hard as they can,but will never have the same aura around attending a game,it's just not the same.

I wonder if there is a big hobby train place near you guys?  Some are very detailed and fascinating with the work they put into them. They used to have those in a lot of places.  If so, he would love to go I bet!

Yes, too much fan history on the Cubs side.  Baseball is the best example of hope in fans in all of sports.

That is a valid point, of course.  If they do NOT want Trump And know he cannot win -- why not convince the rest on another candidate?  Because there is NOT one that can win.

No one is 'blaming guys like you'.  What is there to blame?  You admit that your distaste of Trump is the most important thing to you.  A man has to vote on his convictions.  It is just baffling that this is more key than what is best overall.  It is a stark contrast to go from sometimes voting Republican to voting for Biden and saying you will never vote Republican again.  All because one man and his ways are irascible to you.  You must admit it a little odd that you let one man get to you this way.  To me that would show convictions that are not very solid.

Remember what I have said a couple of times before.  If you feel this way about Trump that is fine.  But is not fair to judge a whole group of folks by one man's actions.  That is far too short-sighted.

Always keep in mind that Trump is not diplomatic and says what others in politics know not to say.  So, you have to consider the context, who he was responding to, and what result he wanted.  Not justifying his words or actions, just explaining the way it is.  That is part of what initially attracted some folks that are so tired of politicians -- Right or Left.

No sir.  Not without a lot of latitude with it.  But if it sticks and hurts and works to their advantage -- the Left and Media for sure will take that liberty.  But, no sir, I do not know anyone that he 'duped' into sending them money.  Even, if that is granted, people willingly doing something based on their emotions and convictions is no more or less than one choosing to never vote Republican again because of this.

I saw one quote about this that applies to the way folks look at these things.  It is partisan-viewing at its best.  Whether you classify it as a fundraiser for campaigns or not, people see politicians do this and condemn the other side no matter what the cause or reason:

Again, not my guy BUT your guy.  You and your guys are the ones that are harping on him all the time for everything.  I just saw his results and think he is the only candidate that might beat Biden.

But if another candidate emerges in the next few months -- then all on the Right should all get on board, including YOU.  Then the Right can convince the Only-Trump guys why that candidate is better.

No.  I do not.  It basically was not done and seems the intent is overblown politically by the Left and Media, at this point.  Again, if they could stick something to Trump -- they would have by now.  That is just not what I am interested in in this thread.  

I like to try to keep folks focused on one or two topics otherwise they get too sidetracked and start deflecting too much to have a coherent discussion.

I don't just have a distaste of trump,I hate all cowards,conmen,bull shitters,liars,and traitors to this country.That is definitely one of the most important things to me,in the people I vote for,is some honesty and integrity.The question is,why don't you feel that way?I look for candidates who have integrity,and do what's right thing for the country,not just what's right for themselves or 1 particular party.

You don't have to be a diplomat to know you shouldn't call someone a loser,who served in a war your coward ass ran from.If you had a father,grandfather,or any other person who fought in a war,would you allow some POS coward to call him a loser?Of course not,but yet you want the same POS to lead our country,even after he just attacked our country?Those are some real strong convictions you have.And you are right a man should vote on his convictions,but the convictions a candidate has and is facing,should kind of influence a man's own conviction to a certain candidate to,don't you think?

I always find it fascinating that this is the go to move for Trump supporters, or people that claim they do not like him but voted for him anyway. 

Somehow if you criticize fat Donnie for his traitorous actions or horrible leadership you are obsessed with him or he is your guy because you point out his lack of leadership, absence of humanity, and atrocious decision-making.

However, these same Trump supporters that claim the opposition is obsessed are rocking MAGA hats, waving flags with Trump shirtless as Rambo on their trucks, attending rallies, defending his every move (whether illegal or unethical), and voting for him for the party's presidential candidate yet again because they claim "there is no other choice." Seems the GOP and his supporters are the ones that cannot get over their obsession with him, not his critics.
