She refused to yield on the big points, ‘I said to myself, this time you have to stay aggressive, you have to dictate.’ Her biggest let-downs in majors have often been accompanied by unforced errors and self-doubt in her heavy ball-striking style, but she has remained aggressive throughout this tournament.
