We're in the final days of the US Open, and an American has a chance to win the whole thing on both the men's and women's side following the five-set epic between Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe.
As for the women's final, Aryna Sabalenka has been favored all tournament long and will look to complete her dominant run when she faces Jessica Pegula later today.
Here are the latest 2024 US Open odds at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

2024 US Open men's championship update
9-7-2024: Taylor Fritz outlasted his American counterpart in five sets to book his ticket to face No. 1 seed Jannik Sinner. The Italian had a much easier semifinal matchup, disposing of Jack Draper in a measly three sets. Fritz will have the crowd on his side, but will it be enough to overcome his opponent?
Previous US Open men's news
9-5-2024: After splitting the first two sets with Daniil Medvedev, Jannik Sinner cleared his path to the semis by taking the final two sets 6-1 and 6-4, respectively. Since Novak Djokovic was unceremoniously dispatched by Alexei Popyrin, Sinner has appeared to be the man to beat. Popyrin's time in the sun was itself short-lived, falling to Frances Tiafoe in four sets on Sunday. Tiafoe has outperformed his seeding (20th) for much of the tournament and will have to topple Taylor Fritz to reach his first Grand Slam final.
9-2-2024: Beating a player like Djokovic could give enough momentum to a player that could be used to make the final. That wasn't the case for Alexei Popyrin, who was bounced in his Round of 16 matchup against Frances Tiafoe a day later. Jannik Sinner remains the favorite, with Zverev and Medvedev rounding out the Top 3.
8-31-2024: Wow, that was fast. Not long after Novak Djokovic took over as the betting favorite thanks to Carlos Alcaraz's untimely exit, he also was shockingly dispatched. Australia's Alexei Popyrin ultimately won 3-1 to take down the No. 2 seed and defending champion. Jannik Sinner now takes over with the shortest odds and the Italian will look to avoid an upset at the hands of unseeded Christopher O'Connell on Saturday afternoon.
8-30-2024: A rising tide lifts all boats, and Carlos Alcaraz's departure meant some drastic reductions for some of the key contenders in the men's US Open. Novak Djokovic fell from +200 to a +150 favorite, and Jannik Sinner went from +350 to a +200 second-choice. Daniil Medvedev also took a sizable hit from +1,600 to +750.
8-25-2024: There has been very little odds movement since our last update, with the table seemingly set ahead of the tournament's opening day tomorrow. Alcaraz enters as the favorite to capture the fourth and final Grand Slam of 2024.
8-23-2024: Four of the Top 5 wagering choices saw their odds go up following the draw with Alexander Zverev (+1,000) being the exception. However, Novak Djokovic took the smallest hit (+220 to +240) after once again avoiding the side with Carlos Alcaraz (+200) and Jannik Sinner (+370) in it. Can he avoid being shut out at the 2024 majors?
8-15-2024: The Top 5 of Alcaraz (+125), Djokovic (+220), Sinner (+240), Medvedev (+650), and Zverev (+1,600) has remained static over the last month. However, there was movement below them with Rafael Nadal dropping out and Matteo Berrettini (+2,500) making a major move after taking both the Swiss Open and Austrian Open in the run-up to the year's final major.
8-16-2024: Novak Djokovic (+220) was able to win his first U.S. Open since 2018 last year, but a forced withdrawal from the 2024 French Open due to a knee injury and a subsequent loss in the Wimbledon finals to Carlos Alcaraz (+125) has him looking up at his Spanish rival on the oddsboard. 2024 Australian Open winner Jannik Sinner (+240) is breathing right down Djokovic's neck. Daniil Medvedev (+650) is the lone player between +240 (Sinner) and +1,600 (Alexander Zverev) on the board.
10-20-2023: Novak Djokovic (+125) hasn't had a stranglehold on the U.S. Open like some of the other majors, so it's not that surprising to see Carlos Alcaraz (+150) right beside the Serbian superstar in the early wagering. If both are upset, the door would be open for Daniil Medvedev (+800), who put up staunch resistance vs. Djokovic in the 2023 finals.

2024 US Open women's championship update
9-7-2024: After taking down the world No. 1, Jessica Pegula did not stop there. She took down Karolina Muchova in three sets to get the opportunity to take down Aryna Sabalenka. Pegula is a big underdog heading into the final, but it's not like this would be the first upset of her run to the Grand Slam title...
Previous US Open women's news
9-5-2024: And the hits just keep on coming! Jessica Pegula toppled the top-seeded Iga Swiatek in straight sets on Wednesday to earn a spot in the semifinals against Karolina Muchova, who is coming off her own straight-sets victory over Beatriz Haddad Maia. Muchova was unseeded to open the tournament and has served as a major spoiler throughout. Meanwhile, Aryna Sabalenka remains the betting favorite after the No. 2 seed sent Qinwen Zheng packing on Tuesday. She'll look to hold court against No. 13-seed Emma Navarro in Thursday's semifinal match.
9-2-2024: The women's side isn't prone to upsets, with Coco Gauff falling in three sets yesterday to Emma Navarro (+1,200). Jessica Pegula moved into the Top 3 following the match, while Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek remain atop the board.
8-31-2024: Aryna Sabalenka will face Elise Mertens in the Round of 16 on Sunday as she looks to pad her status as the favorite. Meanwhile, top-seeded Iga Swiatek will look to punch her ticket to the next stage against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova on Saturday night.
8-30-2024: Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, and Coco Gauff continue to get shorter as they move along through the preliminary rounds of the US Open. Some major names are off the board already as Elena Rybakina withdrew due to injury and Naomi Osaka was sent packing by Karolina Muchova.
8-25-2024: Odds have shifted significantly on the women's side, with Aryna Sabalenka now favored over Iga Swiatek. Coco Gauff has also moved into a Top 3 position, trading at +1,100 at DraftKings.
8-15-2024: Barbora Krejcikova (+2,500) has dropped out of the Top 10 in the US Open wagering after being mostly idle following her Wimbledon victory. The biggest mover over the last month was Qinwen Zheng (+2,000) in the aftermath of her gold medal win at Paris, China's first singles tennis triumph at the Olympics. Still, it's Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka sitting as the ones to beat on the women's side at +300 apiece.
7-16-2024: Barbora Krejcikova is getting much more attention than usual in the U.S. Open betting following her Wimbledon upset, but it's Aryna Sabalenka and 2022 U.S. Open winner Iga Swiatek who are in their customary spots atop the oddsboard tied at +300. Close behind are Elena Rybakina and reigning U.S. Open winner Coco Gauff, each priced at +550. Two-time U.S. Open champion Naomi Osaka (+700) is bridging the gap between the pair at +550 and Krejcikova at +1,800.
10-20-2023: Iga Swiatek was sent packing in the Round of 16 in the 2023 U.S. Open, but oddsmakers have nonetheless installed her as the betting favorite in 2024, a status she holds for each of the other three Grand Slam events as well. Aryna Sabalenka (+470) and Elena Rybakina (+850), both of whom seek their first U.S. Open title, have shorter odds than reigning champ Coco Gauff at most sites.

How to bet on US Open odds
Tennis betting is most commonly done with moneyline odds for a match. Each player is assigned a moneyline price and bettors can wager on which one they think will win. Sportsbooks also offer futures odds for each tournament, where you can bet on which player will win that specific tournament.
Tennis futures odds usually look like this:
- Player A +600
This means that on a $100 bet, you'll stand to win $600 if Player A wins the tournament. If it's close to the end of a tournament or one player has been particularly dominant, you might see someone with a minus sign (-) ahead of their odds:
- Player B -120
This means that you would need to wager $120 to win $100 on Player B winning the tournament.
