How to bet on Australian Open odds
Tennis betting is most commonly done with moneyline odds for a match. Each player is assigned a moneyline price and bettors can wager on which one they think will win. Sportsbooks also offer futures odds for each tournament in which you can bet on which player will win that specific tournament.
Tennis futures odds usually look like this:
- Carlos Alcaraz +250
This means that on a $100 bet, you'll stand to win $250 if Alcaraz wins the tournament. If it's close to the end of a tournament or one player has been particularly dominant, you might see someone with a minus sign (-) ahead of their odds:
- Novak Djokovic -120
This means that you would need to wager $120 to win $100 on Djokovic winning the tournament.
