Joique Bell added a fourth-quarter rushing score and Matt Stafford passed for 285 yards to surpass 10,000 for his career as the Lions (4-4) won for the third time in four games. Detroit racked up 434 yards of total offense while converting 8 of 12 third-down opportunities.
Blaine Gabbert threw second-half touchdown strikes to Micheal Spurlock and Justin Blackmon for Jacksonville, which has been outscored 149-65 during its five-game losing skid.
Leshoure put the Lions on the board early in the second quarter, running it in from 7 yards out to cap a 13-play, 91-yard drive. Detroit extended its advantage on the very next possession, with a 38-yard passing play from Stafford to Calvin Johnson setting up Leshoure's 1-yard plunge.
Leshoure capped his sensational first half with an 8-yard scamper in the final minute.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Stafford reached the 10,000-yard plateau in his 37th career game, the second-fastest rate in league history. Kurt Warner hit the mark in his 36th game. ... Johnson battled through a knee injury to haul in seven passes for 129 yards. Johnson didn't practice all week and had his knee heavily wrapped during the game. ... Gabbert finished 27-of-38 for 220 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
