We have a fascinating game on primetime this Monday with the 5-9 New Orleans Saints heading to Lambeau Field to face the 10-4 Green Bay Packers. Our focus is on Packers signal-caller Jordan Love and what we believe is the best bet on the board: Under 1.5 passing touchdowns. 

The Saints haven’t been that great against the pass this season, but there are plenty of reasons to think we might see one or fewer passing touchdowns from Love on Monday. If we look at the Saints' most recent six games, it’s a 50/50 split on games with Over and Under 1.5 passing touchdowns. They’ve allowed a total of seven passing touchdowns across those six games, with two games featuring no passing touchdowns for the opposing quarterback.

While Love comes into this on the back of a two-touchdown performance against the Seahawks, we need to consider that he’s had Under 1.5 passing touchdowns in four of his past seven games. That's not a huge advantage to the Under, but while this Saints defense is bad against the pass, its also bad against the run, an area in which the Packers are looking very dangerous.

The Packers aren’t afraid to let Josh Jacobs put the team on his back, and we’ve seen 20+ carries in two of his past four games. What’s been really noticeable over the past month is that the team is really letting Jacobs dominate in the red zone, and they’ve found huge success on the ground when it comes to scoring.

Jacobs has scored in five straight games since the bye week and has a total of nine touchdowns over that span. The rest of the offense combined has scored the same amount of touchdowns in that time, with eight coming via the arm of Jordan Love and the ninth being a rushing touchdown from the quarterback. With Jacobs cooking, it makes sense for the team to lean on its star running back.

We’ll double down on our best bet and add him to stay Under 230.5 passing yards. As with the best bet, we should see the Packers attack the Saints on the ground.

Love’s line is 230.5 passing yards, nearly 12 yards under the 242.2 the Saints have given up on average this year. However, we haven’t seen huge numbers from Love of late, despite being accurate and getting his team wins. He’s stayed Under 230.5 passing yards in three of his past four games.

With the Packers likely to see success on the ground, that’s going to lead to a Josh Jacobs touchdown. He's scored in five straight games and has 13 touchdowns on the season. We’ve really seen the team rely on him lately, getting eight of the team’s touchdowns in the past four games.
