Colorado State 58, Air Force 13: Kapri Bibbs rushed for 79 yards and three touchdowns as the Rams snapped a seven-game losing streak to the visiting Falcons.
Bibbs, who now has 28 rushing touchdowns, became the first FBS running back with three or more rushing scores in seven games in a single season. Garrett Grayson went 26-of-34 for 395 yards and three scores for Colorado State (7-6, 5-3 Mountain West), which became bowl eligible for the first time since 2008.
Karson Roberts rushed for 38 yards and a score and Jalen Robinette had five catches for 72 yards to lead Air Force (2-10, 0-8). Colorado State outgained the Falcons 629-279 and pitched a shutout until the final five minutes.
Bibbs rushed for touchdowns of 3, 1 and 4 yards, the third making the score 44-0 midway through the third quarter. Grayson had a pair of touchdown passes to Rashard Higgins in the second quarter as the Rams built a 30-0 halftime lead and added a third-quarter rushing score.
Grayson (3,327 yards) broke Terry Nugent's 1983 single-season passing record on a 49-yard touchdown pass to Jordon Vaden late in the third quarter. Chris Nwoke pushed the Rams' lead to 58-0 with an 8-yard run before Air Force got on the board with touchdown runs from Colton Huntsman and Roberts.
