Euro 2024 contains 24 teams broken out into six groups. The top two teams from each group, plus the four best third-place teams, will advance to the knockout stage.
Below you'll see each team's odds to win their group, their odds to qualify for the knockout stage, and the number of points they have earned so far.
Group A standings and odds
Group A is all about the hosts, and rightfully so. Germany has been a global soccer powerhouse for an eternity, and the last time they hosted a major tournament, they went all the way to the semifinals. The Germans have endured a rough patch of late, but with a new coach locked in place until after the 2026 World Cup, and a good injection of youth to aide the veterans, Germany will do well to use their homefield advantage and parlay that into European success. It won't be easy, though, as Scotland, Switzerland, and Hungary all had exceptional qualifying campaigns, but the battle will, in fact, be for second place.
Teams | Points | Odds to Win Group | Odds to Qualify |
---|---|---|---|
Germany | 0 | -278 | -3333 |
Scotland | 0 | +975 | -114 |
Hungary | 0 | +900 | -133 |
Switzerland | 0 | +480 | -200 |
Group B standings and odds
Group B is where you'll find the defending champions, Italy. The Italians rose to the occasion in England four years ago to knock off the hosts in penalty kicks. Some turnover and a new coach will have many hesitant to believe they can defend, but they should have no issues getting out of this group. Spain will be good with the likes of Rodi, Pedri, and Yamal, but defensively they could have problems keeping the ball out of their net. The wild card here is Croatia, who on paper appear to be over the hill, but there's enough talent to spark an upset or two. Albania, thanks for coming out.
Teams | Points | Odds to Win Group | Odds to Qualify |
---|---|---|---|
Spain | 0 | -125 | -2000 |
Croatia | 0 | +440 | -303 |
Italy | 0 | +200 | -714 |
Albania | 0 | +3600 | +365 |
Group C standings and odds
England can and should win this group with a perfect 100% record. They are stacked with elite talent at every position on the pitch and their midfielders and attackers are in fine form. Just look at how Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane fared in their big-money moves to Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, respectively. The battle will once again be for the second spot, with Slovenia, Denmark, and Serbia all capable of scoring goals in bunches against each other.
Teams | Points | Odds to Win Group | Odds to Qualify |
---|---|---|---|
Slovenia | 0 | +1400 | +132 |
Denmark | 0 | +440 | -294 |
Serbia | 0 | +690 | -154 |
England | 0 | -263 | -3333 |

Group D standings and odds
Some would argue Group B is the "Group of Death" but I would argue Group D is a close second, if not No. 1. France and Netherlands are the cream of the crop, but Poland has plenty of tricky attacking players that can cause problems, and Austria finished within one point of Belgium in Group F qualifying. If I had to forecast the top three, I'd go with France, Netherlands, and Austria.
Teams | Points | Odds to Win Group | Odds to Qualify |
---|---|---|---|
Netherlands | 0 | +280 | -417 |
France | 0 | -182 | -2500 |
Poland | 0 | +1350 | +137 |
Austria | 0 | +700 | -133 |
Group E standing and odds
On paper, this group looks relatively straightforward for Belgium to play three and win three for a 100% record. However, while Belgium should top the group, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Romania are no slouches. They combined to give up 22 goals in 30 qualifying matches. They know how to defend and should make life uncomfortable for the group favorites, Belgium.
Teams | Points | Odds to Win Group | Odds to Qualify |
---|---|---|---|
Ukraine | 0 | +490 | -213 |
Slovakia | 0 | +925 | -102 |
Belgium | 0 | -250 | -2500 |
Romania | 0 | +725 | -154 |
Group F standings and odds
Portugal are a heavy favorite to win this group and rightfully so. They have an abundance of attacking talent and veteran experience at the back end to see them go on a deep run this year. The return of Cristiano Ronaldo to the spotlight is never a bad thing as I believe he'll be chomping at the bit to prove to the world he can still play. The battle for second spot should be between Czechia and Turkiye with Georgia bringing up the rear.
Teams | Points | Odds to Win Group | Odds to Qualify |
---|---|---|---|
Portugal | 0 | -213 | -3333 |
Czechia | 0 | +490 | -238 |
Georgia | 0 | +2300 | +220 |
Türkiye | 0 | +375 | -323 |
