Despite entering a black hole at the end of October, Manchester City never disappointed when goals were concerned. Winless November is gone, so City will look to restart at Anfield on Sunday. There were many positives in the Champions League game against Feyenoord on Tuesday, but not many will take them over the big storyline in that match.
City wasted a three-goal advantage, as Feyenoord came back from 3-0 down and scored three goals in 15 minutes to secure an unexpected point. City manager Pep Guardiola needs to find solutions before the season's big objectives are torn to pieces.
There have been over 3.5 goals in three of City's last six games. In the other three, the count stopped at three, but there was no shortage of chances to take it way beyond the score line.
Liverpool have won 14 of their previous 15 games, also drawing on one occasion. They are eight points clear at the top of the Premier League standings and playing an electric and efficient football.
