Very sad news about one of our own

Just saw this. Sad news my condolences .

I remember Lippsman when I started in this forum like 20 years ago, wow... sad news... was he sick?

Damn.... Lipps was one of the very best!!! Obviously never met him in person, but he always seemed like he would be the nicest guy you ever met if lucky enough.

I pray for his family and friends.

I rarely post but i'd like to say that Mr. Lippman was the most kind and friendly person i've ever seen on sports forums. I'm only seeing this post now and i'm deeply sorry, feeling really sad because of his death.

Rest in peace, mate. You'll be missed.

Haven't checked in on the forums lately but did today, and was very sad to hear of this news. Reading through these posts goes to show how respected he was. RIP Lipps

I remember talking to him and he removed me from the penalty box. He was an easy going great guy!

This crushed me. Even though i've never spoke with him and usually on the NBA side, but i always read his posts when it came to NHL. I'm sad now R.I.P. brother, thanks for every ounce of help and effort you used to help us out.

His Playoff Split will live on forever. One of the greatest pro sport trends I have ever seen.

Lipps was a great contributor to our forums, especially in the pucks forum. I remember the day when he took over the daily pick 'em thread from three hockey girls....seems like it was yesterday. Time sure does fly!

wow that's sad, i had looking around for his regular threat the moment NHL the season returned and seem to miss it.  It was fun be a part his tracked daily posts record, that's about a year or so ago.  He was passionate and has a genuine interest in NHL more than anyone i ever notice here.  that is so sad.
