Wow I am very sorry to hear this. My mother passed away on Christmas Day herself so I feel the pain.

Wow just read this I'm shocked haven't been on covers for awhile. Noticed his daily thread wasn't up. R.I.P Lipps you were a class act and will be missed on this site.

I haven't really checked much on other posters lately but I just saw this page..... this is truly depressing. He brought a lot of character and stability to these boards and he was fair.

Some years ago Lipps used to do a second half thread in NFL Forum, that was where I chatted with him over the years, he stop doing it and when I asked him what was up he just said it was just more work that he just did not want to do anymore. I never heard him say a bad word about anyone but us Covers Guys know why he stop the NFL one,and I will leave it at that.

He was just a class guy on here and he always would answer your questions no matter how dumb it was, and for quite a few of us non hockey guys he had a few that I bet he laughed at, will be a Big Loss to this Site, he will never be replaced, RIP Sir, One of the good Guys.
