Just heard Penrith will announce Thurston signing in 4 days.....4 years at $1.15 mill a year.......

"AN NRL game held in Sydney is understood to have been identified by the Australian Crime Commission's probe into sport as an instance of suspected match fixing.

It is believed NSW Police have been told about the suspect game, which was referred to last Thursday by Federal Justice Minister Jason Clare, who said authorities were investigating a potential case of match fixing with links with organised crime and doping in Australian professional sport"

Roosters lead 16-0 at HT and then proceed to lose by 16

I remember that game very well, there was also a parramatta/cowboys match on monday night a few years ago that felt dodgy

The fact that game got swept under the carpet basically sent a message to players, as long as you can get away with it, do it.

Even if it looks pretty obvious, we wont dig hard to catch you.

Yeah, probably got swept under the carpet by the same people who covered up Todd Greenberg.

How dare anything come between the NRL and the gambling revenue it generates for them. Everything from advertising indirectly and ratings.
