What a dumpster fire Movie Pass is. This collapse just two days after a 250 to 1 reverse split to make sure they wouldn't get delisted! The pre split price would now be under one cent a share...a total abortion and destruction of wealth.

Yeah no question...they really hid the problems for a long time. Having to take a loan shark rate lifeline makes you think they are going under next week.
But if you are one who takes that long shot 1000 to 1 wager, this one might be it. If someone does this trade its either a zero or a 100 bagger, no other way for it to go.

No way they make it. AMC and all of the other theatres are rolling out monthly deals. Movie pass loses money every day. They can't throw enough money at this to ever make it profitable. It's dead.....just a horrible business plan.

That is true unless they up the price still under the others and monetize their user data which is what they plan on doing.
Funny how these things unfold so rapidly.

Buck.....I owned the stock in the late 2000's and through the merger with Caesars. When the merger/takeover with Caesars occurred in early 2012 volatility spiked and I sold on an upswing without making much of a profit. I held the stock for a long time and it ended up being a bad investment for me. I could never figure out why a company that was guaranteed to make a ton of money on gambling could never see the stock get out of its own way?
I gave up on the stock and I'm glad I did. At these levels I can see why you are tempted, but CZR has never taken off for whatever the reasons. Seems like the casinos are always funny with the money....we know they make money, but where does it go?????

I agree about CZR, their margins are LOUSY and their debt is massive..look at how much cash to debt they have and check out how much their interest expense is (and continues to climb) it is more than their total operating income...so their debt service is higher than the operating cash needed to pay it.
buck, I really wish this OMER were a cheaper stock because the risk/reward just isnt killer to throw down a big position for me. I keep hoping the market comes in and I can get some stocks I like but I agree with you it is possible this one will pan out for you longer term...but given their high market cap I dont see it being a huge hit. I saw a few names of stocks I owned in the past, and while here on Covers that I let go for whatever the crap reasons and I seriously screwed up and let some small winners go that ended up being huge winners. I am not going to name tickers but one I had would be a 40 bagger now, another would be a 10 bagger and I just didnt let them run and I should have.
With the market being so high I do not see the opportunities that I did say 7 yrs ago, valuations are obscene..in fact one of the names I didnt keep is trading at an valuation that makes no sense but it is and so it goes. I have to keep researching and find a few solid names not known that are not crap shoots that I can get in, or wait as I have for years for this stupid market to quit trading at these ridiculous levels...

"Omeros believes that it exclusively controls 54 GPCRs with broad-ranging indications including cancer and cardiovascular disease as well as immunologic metabolic inflammatory and central nervous system disorders. We have discovered and are advancing small molecules against the number of these GPCRs with the focus currently on two specific cancer-related targets, GPR161 and GPR174.
With respect to GPR161, our data demonstrated the receptor plays a critical role in oncogenicity or tumor formation in triple negative breast cancer and sarcomas. We expected modulators of GPR161 will block the growth of these tumors.
As discussed during our last earnings call GPR174 appears to be a unique target for cancer immunotherapy. Inhibition of GPR174 in human tissue increases tumor killing cytokine levels while both suppressing tumor-protecting regulatory T cells and blocking tumor-promoting checkpoint inhibitors or molecules. To our knowledge, GPR174 and no other target singly affects this constellation of cancer-related functions and no entity other than Omeros has GPR174 inhibitors.
We currently are expanding our medicinal chemistry teams so that we can expedite optimization of our compounds against both of these promising cancer targets to enable the initiation of clinical trials as quickly as possible."

Buck. You seem to know this stock inside and out. Can you explain to me why all the analysts are so bias to the negative side on this stock? I am on a few trading platforms and all is see is sell ratings, which is really a rare thing as most of the ratings services generally have a "buy" bias on nearly everything they cover.
What are they missing?
