Jay Feely kicked a 48-yard field goal with five seconds left to lift the Arizona Cardinals to a wild 27-26 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday night.
Third-string quarterback Stephen McGee looked like he had won the game when he drove the Cowboys down the field and hit Miles Austin for the go-ahead 37-yard touchdown with 1:41 left. But David Buehler missed the point after attempt, giving the Cardinals the window they needed.
Arizonaกฏs own third-string quarterback, rookie John Skelton, moved his team down the field, hitting Larry Fitzgerald with a 26-yard pass to convert a fourth-and-15 and keep the drive alive before Feelyกฏs kick.
Jon Kitna was in the giving spirit early in the game and gave Arizona (5-10) two gifts within the first seven minutes.
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie accepted the first one, running an interception back 32 yards to give the Cardinals a 7-0 lead. Greg Toler was the next recipient, taking a pick back 66 yards for another score just over four minutes later.
Skeltonกฏs first career touchdown pass in the second quarter - a 74 yard pitch and catch with Andre Roberts - stretched the lead to 21-3.
Dallas (5-10) slowly chipped away in the second half before taking the lead on McGeeกฏs pass to Miles.
