Lache Seastrunk returned after missing the last two games with a groin injury and rushed for 94 yards for Baylor (10-1, 7-1 Big 12), which needs a win next week against Texas and an Oklahoma State loss to Oklahoma to win the title outright. The Horned Frogs cut a 17-point deficit to three in the second half on touchdown passes from Pachall. Baylor kicker Aaron Jones missed his first pressure kick of the season, a 32-yarder with 7:30 left that kept it a three-point game, but TCU couldnกฏt get a first down on its next two drives and Pachall was intercepted by Terrell Burt at the goal line with 11 seconds remaining after the Horned Frogs had reached the Baylor 23.
The Bears had already scored 14 points off turnovers when Eddie Lackey returned an interception 54 yards for a touchdown on the opening drive of the second half, stretching the lead to 34-17. But the Horned Frogs, who rallied from an early 10-point deficit to briefly take a first-half lead, didnกฏt fade.
