Texas A&M 63, Auburn 21: Johnny Manziel threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in the first quarter as the No. 21 Aggies destroyed the host Tigers.
Texas A&M (6-2, 3-2 SEC) led 28-0 before Auburn earned its initial first down early in the second quarter. The Tigers (1-7, 0-6) are off to their worst start in 60 years.
Manziel had 300 yards of total offense in the first half and the Aggies went to the locker room leading 42-7. The dazzling redshirt freshman finished with 260 passing yards, 90 rushing yards and five total touchdowns - three rushing - before being replaced by Jameill Showers.
Ryan Swope caught six passes for 140 yards and two scores, and freshman Trey Williams ran for 109 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries. A&M rolled up 671 total yards.
The Tigers, who entered ranked second-to-last in the FBS with 276.7 yards per game, got a late spark from freshman quarterback Jonathan Wallace. He threw for two touchdowns after replacing the ineffective Kiehl Frazier.
GAME NOTEBOOK: It was the fourth time A&M scored at least 48 points this season. กญ The Aggies improved to 3-0 all-time against Auburn, which was playing the first of four straight home games in front of its frustrated fan base. ... There were no turnovers in the game.
