Stampeders 33, Lions 16: Eric Rogers caught a pair of touchdown passes as visiting Calgary ended its regular season by tying a franchise record for wins.
Bo Levi Mitchell and Drew Tate combined to complete 27-of-38 passes for 414 yards and both quarterbacks had a touchdown toss to Rogers. Bryant Moniz scored a rushing touchdown for the Stampeders (15-3), who will have a bye week before hosting the West Division Final and tied the CFL's record with eight road victories. Shawn Lemon recorded two sacks and Keon Raymond and Fred Bennett each had an interception.
Kevin Glenn was 26-for-36 passing for 312 yards and a touchdown to Emmanuel Arceneaux, but also threw a pair of interceptions for BC (9-9), which finished the season with a 4-5 home record. Running back Stefan Logan had a game-high 187 yards from scrimmage.
Rogers caught a 21-yard touchdown pass from Tate 49 seconds into the second quarter after the teams traded field goals in the first. Moniz capped an 85-yard drive with a 1-yard rush at 12:42, but Arceneaux answered with a 46-yard touchdown catch 1:17 later before Rogers reeled in his second touchdown on a 24-yard toss from Mitchell 38 seconds after that.
BC held Calgary to 55 rushing yards on 17 carries without Jon Cornish, who sat out after suffering a head injury last week. Bennett stopped a Lions' drive deep in Calgary territory by intercepting Glenn on the opening play of the fourth quarter, leading to a 41-yard field goal by Rene Paredes that sealed the victory.
