Phil Gosselin also had three hits and drove in three runs, Jack Mayfield slugged a two-run homer, and David Fletcher and Shohei Ohtani added two hits apiece for the Angels.
Angels left-hander Jose Suarez (5-4) allowed three runs and six hits in 5 2/3 innings. He struck out six and walked one.

Rangers right-hander Jordan Lyles (5-8) allowed six runs and nine hits in 5 2/3 innings. He struck out six and walked three.
Adell delivered a two-run double with two outs in the third to give the Angels a 3-1 lead.
Gosselin came through with a two-out single in the fifth to stretch the lead to 4-1.
Jose Iglesias was thrown out at home trying to score from first on a double by Brandon Marsh in the sixth, but Mayfield followed with a two-run homer to make it 6-1.
Ibanez got those runs back with a two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth to make it 6-3.
Gosselin and Adell each collected RBI singles as the Angels tacked on four more runs in the seventh to stretch the lead to 10-3.
Rangers right fielder DJ Peters, who was claimed off waivers from the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday, made his first start and delivered a check-swing single in the second inning.
Curtis Terry followed with a sinking liner just out of the reach of Marsh in center, allowing Peters to score from first for a 1-0 lead.
Gosselin singled in Fletcher to tie the score 1-1 in the third, and the Angels took the lead for good later in the inning on Adell's first double.
