After splitting the first two games of their 6-game homestand, the Vancouver Canucks look to get back on track tonight when they host the St. Louis Blues at Rogers Arena with a 10 p.m. ET puck drop on Sportsnet Pacific.
Despite being tied with the fewest home wins in the NHL, the ‘Nucks are still -173 favorites. My Blues vs Canucks prediction has Vancouver taking advantage of a road-weary St. Louis team, wrapping up a Western Canada trek.

My Canucks analysis
The Vancouver Canucks stumbled to a 4-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning last game, dropping to 4-6-3 at Rogers Arena. That ties them with the Blackhawks and Utah for the fewest home wins in the league.
Vancouver owns the second-worst goals-against average of any team at home, surrendering 3.85 per contest. Over the last eight home games, they have allowed at least four goals five times, losing all of them.
Kevin Lankinen has been a different goalie on home ice, running a 3-4-2 record with 3.40 goals against and a grim .884 save percentage, so it’s good news that Vancouver is expected to give Thatcher Demko his first start of the season Tuesday.
Demko went 35-14-2 with a 2.45 GAA and a .918 save percentage last season and has now recovered from a knee injury.
The St. Louis Blues, meanwhile, have won four of their last six though their modest two-game win streak was snapped last time out with a 4-2 loss to the Edmonton Oilers.
But don't let that modest run of success fool you. The Blues enter as a Bottom-5 scoring team, putting up just 2.57 goals per game.
The Blues have owned this head-to-head, beating Vancouver two straight and in seven of the last nine overall. They’re also 3-1-0 as betting underdogs on the moneyline in the last four. However, road weariness is a pattern with St. Louis. This will be the final of a four-game Western Canada swing,
In their previous four road trips this season that have lasted three games or longer, the Blues have lost three of four finales.
