The Raiders have lost eight games in a row and now have to travel across the country for an early game. Tampa Bay is the far more talented team (especially on offense) and is in a battle for the NFC South, while Vegas is in tank mode.
Prediction: The Bucs should roll here.
My best bet
Pick: Buccaneers -6.5 (-110 at BetMGM)
My analysis
Although the Las Vegas Raiders were close to upsetting Kansas City as 13.5-point road dogs last week, don't let that overshadow the fact that they've lost eight games in a row — with five of those defeats coming by double digits.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may have a vulnerable defense, but the Raiders don't have the playmakers to take advantage. Vegas is dead last in the league in rush EPA, and tight end Brock Bowers is the only weapon in a one-dimensional passing game.
On the other side of the ball, Vegas ranks 26th in the league in defensive dropback EPA and 28th in points per game surrendered (27.8). Tampa Bay's offensive line allows pressure at the lowest rate in the NFL, and if it can keep Maxx Crosby in check, Baker Mayfield will have more than enough time to torch a weak secondary.
The Bucs sit fifth in the league in offensive success rate and should have few issues running up the score at home here. They are also fresh off a win against Carolina that was far closer than expected, so they won't take the Raiders lightly.

Bowers leads all tight ends in targets (113), receptions (84), and receiving yards (884). He'll have a great matchup against a Bucs stop unit that has allowed the third-most receiving yards per game (66.7) to opposing tight ends.
As the only quality receiver on the Raiders, Bowers will continue to see a sky-high target share. That passing volume could be even higher if the Bucs get up big early and force Vegas to abandon the run.
Since the start of October, the Raiders have allowed 29.5 ppg while the Bucs have given up 27.3 ppg. With these defenses struggling, it's no surprise that Overs have been cashing for both teams. The Over is 8-3 in the Raider's last 11 games while Tampa Bay is 7-2 O/U in its previous nine.
