@Barbarossa Many days for me I thought I had posted it for you right after you were there. Guess I missed you. Was no big deal. Just article about the political situation there, etc. Then your gal Faeser talking about what good the Syrian refugees have been for them. Like she opening up invitation for more.
as clueless , naive and stupid as the Progressives here
Unfortunately that will lead to the ultimate downfall of Germany , not only its once strong economy
let that sink in , Afuera #Doge

the problem is there is only one party left with conservative values , the AFD , without them in the government Germany will be governed for a long time by always the same people / parties from the left , sad

Yes. But it seems a resurgence of conservatives, especially the AfD. You see it in Argentina and a few other places. The young folks are getting fed up.
Even Canada will get rid of the Liberals next election it seems.
Yes, very sad to see Germany economy struggle. Once a great powerhouse. But there is still hope for a turnaround there and elsewhere also.

What are the policies that Conservatives have put forward that you think will make this change.

I do not think they will have to do any at this point. It just seems the folks have become disenchanted with Trudeau and his group.
The Brother-in-law and his folks have mostly been anti-Trudeau -- but now even the younger folks in the family are upset.
The retired couple down here I was telling you about the other day. He is huge anti-Trudeau. I say, Toronto still carries. He says, not so much now. That even those over there are turning from Trudeau.
But Poilievre seems to want to want to look into policies on the crime (which I did not realize had gotten that bad), get the budget under control, fix the housing issues, and some other more conservative fiscal policies.
I think a lot more younger folks are liking him. Another thing that he seems to have going for him is the fact that he is more Libertarian than just Conservative.
So, I think right now the folks are just fed up with current polices and so assume any change is okay right now.
What do you think? Do you get the sense the young folks there are changing or no? How is the sentiment in your area on Trudea as opposed to a couple of years back?

- stop this green bullshit , "energy transition" ,no one can pay for that , implement it over time when it actually works
- German companies are moving in large numbers , a lot of them to the US actually , due to extreme high energy prices which makes them uncompetitive , jobs are lost in the millions
- stop this bureaucracy and Uber-regulation
- time to rebuild the army , in a catastrophic condition , Russia would overrun Germany in 2 days
just a few points
-stop importing the third world , close the borders , stop giving them incentives to come , no more cash

They say the main issues are the time to afford a house takes 3x longer in Canada, the unemployment is 50% higher, cannot own a handgun (which they link to rise in crime), Then they are paying a carbon tax even though their trees absorb over 110% of their carbon emissions.
I think if they just oppose these polices and/or propose change to them, this might be enough to get them elected.

@Barbarossa Last I saw they just closing down some plants, maybe. Not going bankrupt? But if so, for sure never would have seen that coming.
VW CEO is quoted internally that the company is on the brink of collapse , affecting sister companies Porsche , Audi and Skoda , Bugatti and some others
