Crownbet who I rate has the strongest form of all the corporates have Broncos 1.90 and Cowboys at 1.94. NSW Tab have Cowboys 1.85 and Broncos 2.00Very interesting indeed

first of all,its absolutely astonishing wat he does in the game of rugby league at his size....whilst he has never been one of my favourites(not sure why,was just never gravitating towards him),it is impossible to deny this guys consistent brillance...his influence over a game is all-consuming.at times it appears as if every damn decision and skill execution from him is flawless perfection.....dude can almost literally do everything-long kicking, full range of attacking kicks,passing,running,goal-kicking...and while he doesnt exactly hit hard in defense he does not often get shown up....he seriously is one of the more dominant individuals in a team sport on the planet currently......i never-ever thought i'd see sumone better with a greater array of skills than andrew johns but thurston is sumthing else.

as for the final....in discussions and in the paper/on the radio all the pundits and talking heads seem to be leaning pretty firmly towards broncos....which makes me wonder cos i like them to finish off the job also.but hate to go with the pack....its a hell of a game to pick and the line is bang on in my opinion, tough to separate these 2...only a few weeks ago the cowboys were just one big play or pass sticking away from doing the bizness in brisbanes house..so no reason they are not a great chance in the big one.......but going with the theory that defense and limiting errors as much as possible wins you the grand finale more often than not one has to put a little more faith in the broncos....they play very disciplined and regimented coming out of their end of the field, always get to their kicks and obviously have been one of the very best defensive sides all season, particularly on their own line...its amazing how they can give away so many yards down the middle third of the field but then hold on desperately against wave after wave on their own line.
on paper it actually looks to me like cowboys have more out and out game-breaking x-factor guys-thurston,morgan,tamou,taumololo etc....but bennett has his group playing so cohesively as a unit that that can negate an individuals impact and there is no doubt he will be cooking sumthing up to try and nullify and reduce thurstons attack opportunities as much as humanly possible.
thurstons on-going groin problem is a concern and cud prove critical if he isnt able to kick goals as he normally does...he has been uncharacteristically shaky at times recently and has clearly been affected by not following thru properly as his range of movement is limited...not sure if anyone else has seen cowboys reserve kickers....but it aint pretty, trust me.
i go back and forth and back and forth on this one but in the end i still end up having to lean to the broncos sumhow.by no means is it any sort of strong lean cos its impossible to confidently pick this encounter......but bennett is just magic and obviously knows how to get a team thru that grand final experience victorious...tho giving away size and power the broncs pack has shown itself to punch above its weight all year long and bend but not break versus more fancied packs and with everything on the line i see them holding their own and using speed of play, skills and off-loads to counter wat the beasts in the cowboys engine room provide....and in ben hunt i think we are seeing a transformation from a poor mans andrew johns up to the next level,a future shining light in the game...he or milford will stamp their mark on the game in a big way at sum point, that much is pretty clear.
in pretty much a repeat of the most recent game i see the broncos squeeking home by 4...but reserve right to change judgment
