YTD: 15-7

Some early leans based on the TAB odds

Counties +4.5 over Naki since Naki will be missing Barrett I assume

Tasman -7.5 over Otago, taking that as soon as it comes on Bet365

Wellington -14.5 over Southland

Auckland -3.5 over Waikato

Hawkes Bay -16.5 over Harbour

Just some early lines that look alright based off no team lists

Like Makos -7.5 as well Wellington lions -14.5 easy my welly boys turn up this year!!! Auckland -3.5 seems pretty good too. I would leave the counties out not sure which Naki team going to turn up as well as counties

The TAB has the worst odds on the planet, you'd have to be high to bet with those greedy dbags.

They also have a ton of sloppy lines that can be exploited, and high limits so for a switched on punter the TAB are an essential utility.

Limits not so high with some of the lesser rugby games - Shute Shield, NRC, ITM.

Fair enough - my experience is with NSW TAB. For example recent Shute Shield playoffs I had a bet of I think it was $800 halved until the price was adjusted down 10 cents.

You were right about Canterbury, they're crushing Manawatu. Thought it might be too many points on the road but that Canterbury team are ridiculous, didn't they win the National Championship for like a decade straight?

I laid 8.5 earlier. It's gonna be pretty cold in Dunedin tonight, some rain before kick off, that total seems a little high.

There's been a lot of mention about the weather but in fairness the games I've seen in bad conditions have been nothing but high scoring

That's right Phat, forgot Otago has NZ's only dome stadium.

I agree PeeKay, sometimes the cold weather can suit these NZ teams, seems like they want to run more to keep warm lol.

From what I've seen, the ITM cup is way more entertaining rugby than Super Rugby. NZ rugby was better off when it just had it's national competition, Super rugby has only helped SA and especially Australia develop their game but has destroyed the provincial competition in NZ, these games would play to full houses back in the day, now not so much.
