woof woof lol go the dogs
No bets next week.
The Pies will want to beat the Bombers to have a chance for top 4 but it won't happen.
I expect Hawks to lose which means 8th goes to the doggies.
The value options are to go with the form teams but wait until just before the game. Lots of players will be rested.

Unlikely there will be resting. Majority of the top 10 teams have a lot to play for. Plus since the introduction of the bye week before the finals begin, teams wouldn¡¯t want their players having 2 weeks off.
there will be a lot of value closer to game time

hello sir, some questions concerning the log and playoffs=
is it correct that north melbourne downards on the log, these are all out of play off contention ?
hawthorn, adelaide and port adelaide can only catch western bulldogs for the 8th and final PO spot ?
is there an advantage to finish in the top2 ?
is there an advantage to finish in the top4 ?
does 5th and 6th position have home advantage over 7th and 8th ?
are the semi finals and final played at neutral grounds ?
thank you

CHEERS,
CHEERS,
I don¡¯t mean to rain on your parade (thread), I used to be one of the few AFL posters on Covers, it¡¯s nice to see it continued on.
Few early thoughts on the upcoming games which is difficult to finalise as teams are yet to be released and that will play a pivotal part:
Like Sydney at the line. Home game, should be a big crowd to celebrate Buddy¡¯s 300th game and the pending retirements of multiple club champions. Sydney are notorious for showing up when celebrating milestones, so I think they put on a show.
Cats at the line. As good as the resurgence of the Blues has been, they won¡¯t like it down at GMHBA stadium. Hostile and difficult conditions where the cats have made a fortress.
Giants at the line. Suns are the most deplorable team and they can not wait for the season to be over. Linemakers tentative to release lines at anything over 50 points which is nowhere near enough, can see a live line blowing out to 70 or 80. Gianta are good at putting bad teams to the sword. Only saving grace is this is a night game on the Gold Coast which usually leads to wet and slippery conditions. Still don¡¯t think it will be enough; these conditions can also work in our favour as the young suns will fatigue quicker in the humidity and ¡°give up¡± like they have in so many games this season.
