Amazing athlete, prob one of the best athletes to play the game so far. 

MVP is an award that is based on perception and hypotheticals and where the bottom line changes annually:

1. Stats- do the best overall stats matter most? Advanced stats? Team record? What exactly is the defining measure?

2. hypotheticals - what if he was on another team? Would he still be performing at the same level? What if someone else was in his position? Would they perform even better? Lots of scenarios that didnĄ¯t happen always seem to factor in somehow 

3. bottom line - is for the best player OVERALL? Or the best player on the best team? Or is for a player that isnĄ¯t the best but is the glue that holds a team together? Does PAST performance matter? Or does only this years matter? This changes every year it seems based on whoĄ¯s the perceived front runner..

ItĄ¯s not clear on what you were referring to originally when you said 0-2. 

Even now, when you clarified Ą°the spreadsĄą, which ones? Full game? Half? Because if itĄ¯s all spreads, heĄ¯s 1-1 right now. 

And what he picks doesnĄ¯t influence the outcome of the game. This is gambling. We all just guessing

Def play 1h for sure. They will wait to see halftime score. CanĄ¯t imagine Washington winning but we have seen bigger upsets before..

After reading a real dumb post, it got me thinking. Who do you guys think was the best ATHLETE to ever suit up for the NFL? Not like the greatest player ever or whatever. Obviously thereĄ¯s going to be bias because you only get to see who was playing during a set period of time.  For me, Julius Peppers was the dude..freakish athlete esp during those mid 2000s panthers days

In general, a play is called with a check and based on what you see from the defense, you call one or the other. ItĄ¯s possible that they just didnĄ¯t get the right look on defense, or the QB made the wrong check. With no time outs left, Milroe just tried to be an athlete

 lol it was only a bad decision bc it failed. Nobody says anything if he scored. Likewise, if Washington picked up the first down, nobody saying anything. We just out with pitchforks bc itĄ¯s all in hindsight. We also assume it was only one possibility if they decided to punt. What if itĄ¯s blocked? Bad snap? PR for touchdown? Happened to Michigan in 2016. We assume it always plays out the way itĄ¯s suppose toĄ­nobody here is qualified to even sniff the D1 college coaching ranks. So if he made a call and itĄ¯s questionable to us, itĄ¯s whatever bc if we were coaching that same team, they wouldnĄ¯t be #2

Maybe they were trying to get a 1st down to end the game? Everyone here is adamant they know better than the head coach that lead a team to the #2 ranking. Yet if they got the 1st down last night, nobody would be saying, well why didnĄ¯t you take 3 kneel downs? Texas had 2 timeouts, so 3 kneel downs wouldnĄ¯t end the game. At that particular moment in time, of course you try to get 10 yards. All you guys are playing out scenarios that didnĄ¯t happen. If they took 3 knees and punted and Texas scored to win the game, you all would be saying Ą°why didnĄ¯t he try to get a 1st down to end the game??Ąą

lol you canĄ¯t based everything on one instance..as much as I am not a bama fan, nobody can question SabanĄ¯s ability to coach football. If itĄ¯s good enough for him, should be good enough for us

itĄ¯s not analytics, itĄ¯s just less decisions to make if you go 2nd. If they scored a TD, you have to get one. If they donĄ¯t score, you can just win on a fgĄ­say you went on offense first and itĄ¯s 4 and 1. You wanna kick or go for it? Better to let the other team make that call

So you know what you have to do on offense..if other team kicks a FG, you donĄ¯t need a TD. But if you go first and donĄ¯t score, you lose on a FG..

Throw out the gambling aspect and think of it as an actual coach. Health of the players is top priority. How many times have you seen guys get hurt on extra time? Their goal is to be healthy for playoffs. Top seed is just icing on the cake

Conditions are super bad and eagles havenĄ¯t gotten on track offensively..
