LAC do beat teams they are supposed to. I'm just concerned they are playing an early game in the freeze, and will be playing conservative packages. They dont have the explosiveness like the Rams with their great receivers.....they have not beaten a team with a winning record all season (fact check??). 5.5 points is asking for domination on the road. Pats have played some good teams withing a score lately. I don't think they put out a worse effort today. Like the Pats to cover but don't trust them for the win. |

I played USC on the ML HT when it was 14-7. Coach of USC is a QB genius, and he is known to SAVE specific plays designed for that defense until the 4th qtr. Doesn't mean they win, but it means they can close when behind and the scoring picks up. ALl he needs is quality receivers and a trustworthy poised QB, and Lincoln Riley teams will do this every single time. It took a super long time to get there but they did. I think A and M had confusing packages on defense, but Riley figured out which ones they were going to rely on. If you know you know. |

2-1 yesterday (Tex Tech freshamn was terrible). I believe this trend will continue to the end, where teams unfavored play as if they are more favored and seem to "want it more."
Boston College +3.5 Nevermind the plus sign. Adjust your eyes and you will see a negative sign. BC has been a well coached team, and the time for bowl preparation is going to help them as they spend more time around each other, around a great coach, a program focused on the now. BC has played above their weight and won SU as dogs many times over the past few years. Iowa St +4.5 See the minus sign. The plus sign is not there. Hu8rricanes have a horrendous defense. The head coach is spending 90% of his time assembling next year's team, and about 10% with the team. Very surprising Ward is playing, so the insurance policies are in effect. Tens of thousands paid by the University. WIll Cam Ward be scrambling all over the place? WARNING! Colorado is a very popular pick. However, if BYU is focused on doing what they have to do, and play solid football, there is little that seperates these two, and Colorado will be trying once again to make hail Mary throws to avoid losing. WIll Shadeur and Hunter be going full speed reckless all in football? Will BYI just lay down here and be the washington Governore to the "Primetime" Harlem Globetrotting super stars of Colorado? I think BYU gets out to an early lead. I might be playing this in game, and I might even play Colorado if they get far behind. BYU 1st H +3 to +1.5

I actually agree with the call here. I also love this QB, and Vandy is a disciplined ballclub overall, worth backing at +3, too. |

Oklahoma just cannot score, and are struggling to move the ball now. This is Navy's game to take. |

@AJ86 mistyped....my bad....yeah, incredible. I think with that run, he is now ranked #1 for QB rushing. Need one more 4th qtr run...... |

Horvath is in the top 3 for rushing QBs and just scored on a 35 yard scamper, dodging tacklers along the way. I would trust his arm over this frosh QB..... |

Venables went for it twice......trying to test this young offense. Failed twice. Navy is dialed in. It's not easy to stop another team from getting ONE yard, for those who have played the sport before....it's hard. |

The Yankees do have a "color person" commentator on the radio WFAN, and she is actually entertaining. I listen to her on Sirius radio sometimes. She has a NY jewish accent, sounds like Howard Stern's mom, and she is often very funny. Some people don't trust a voice that they know has never played the sport....to each his own. I like all different voices. I don't think it's good to always have three ex-football players, all white males, as this becomes tedious and boring....for me. Just turn the volume down. It's ok to do so.....it's good for the soul. We don't need someone to tell us what we are seeing. Radio maybe....... |

@FelixFermin21 Yeah the OC is too smart to lay his job on the line for this QB....who does "suck" as you say |

Also, Venables is no Lincoln Riley--who famously brings on late plays that confuse defenses, and seems to always get late 4th qtr scoring..... Venables and this fresh QB has shown you everything they got.
Navy, however..... |

Having seen the 1st H, I'm pretty convinced the under is still the play. I can't believe this will be their QB next season for Oklahoma....he seems athletic enough, does QB-like things, and I'm sure he impresses the coaches in drills. But I am certain they can see he is not good in a game, and this is soooo common with good athletes who impress in the Spring, and beat out other players by milliseconds in the drills.....but in a game situation, they cannot make the throws downfield, they lack poise. Maybe he will learn, but it wont happen during HT. Sticking with the under to come through. Oklahoma lucky to have a PI call to extend a drive, also a scramble when Navy missed the QB near the line of scrimmage to extend that same drive. I think Navy is going to be dialed in, and this QB will make a dreadful mistake or two....Navy not out of this. |

QB of Okla looks awful and can't throw a pass....but Navy can't handle extended plays.....QB scrambles......this is a shit game to watch. Better games are later on. |

Okl-Navy UNDER 43. Navy can control tempo, and their defense shut down Army completely, and ought to limit Okla in the redzone. If either team blew off the doors I'd be surprised. I don't trust an armed forces team against a school that specializes in football, not without having at least a TD to start with. I'll root for Navy, but I'm rooting more for a fast game heavy on rushing... Vanderbilt +3 Tough to go against Vandy and the QB everyone loves--gotta love his attitude and interview after beating Alabama. Time to prepare for Geo Tech option is key here...prefer ML but will take the 3 points. Tex Tech -2.5 Red Raiders have been underestimated lately going 8-2 ATS their last 10 (Ark is 5-5 ATS their last 10). Tex Tech gets it done. Biggest Bet of the day.

SEC talent is all over the country, due to the transfer portal. Okla is a 1 year SEC school, so more like Big 12, and that conference took a major hit, now with ASU as Champion. |

Venables has never won a Bowl Game with Oklahoma. 0-2. That's more transfers than I have heard any other program have to deal with. Souns to me like the stress of playiing at Okla with all those expectations got to many players. They were 2-6 in the SEC with one strange easy win over Alabama when the Tide offense could do nothing.Maybe Venables is overrated???? Sounds like they took out their frustrations on Alabama, and this was their bowl game. The athletes on defense for Oklahoma can limit Horvath and the run attack....but this Okla offense is going to look like a Frankenstein of itself with a freshman QB who will do his best NOT on set organized plays, but on busted plays, and how GOOD can that ever be over a long game?

Great winning shot by Reeves. CLUTCH. Curry was clutch tonight--he was trash last night vs Indiana (3 for 16 I believe, and missed two late 3s). Great game.
Warriors are missing Klay. |
