...But they will FORCE a teenage rape victim to full term
Earlier this year, CBPP's Chuck Marr, an expert on federal tax policy, told Newsweek: "This bipartisan proposal rightly focuses on the roughly 19 million children who today are left out of the full Child Tax Credit because their families' incomes are too low. This proposal would increase the credit for more than 80 percent of these children ¡ªabout 16 million children¡ªlifting as many as 400,000 children above the poverty line in the first year and making an additional 3 million children less poor."
Question is why did the MAGAtts vote against this
Just partisan politics as usual?

Disagreement on entitlement. Republicans prefer smaller child tax credit for rich and poor families with work requirement. Democrats prefer larger child tax credit for poor families without work requirement. But research reveals that democrat tax credit would be more effective in reducing poverty.

January 6 gala to celebrate attack on capitol has been postponed at Trump property in New jersey. Absurd for Trump to call criminals patriots or hostages and promise to pardon them if he is re-elected. Obviously, he belongs in jail instead of the white house. In contrast, republican Hogan campaign ad shows horrors of the riot. To defend democracy, he send in Maryland national guard to help capitol police.

House republicans attach an unnecessary election security bill to must-pass budget to avoid harmful government shutdown. Whenever a deadline approach for funding government, chaos caucus tries blackmail to force acceptance of far right policies despite multiple failures. Senate and white house are likely to reject bill because voting is already illegal for non-citizens in all states. Apparently, some republicans are unable to do the basic jobs of governing and deserve to be voted out of office.

MSNBC reports on Vance revealing Trump plan to sabotage Obamacare again if re-elected. Rolling back coverage for pre-existing conditions would worsen access to healthcare insurance for millions of Americans. Meanwhile Commonwealth fund report rates US last in access to healthcare among 10 rich countries.

How many times Republicans tried to challenge the ACA (Obamacare) since its enactment? Guess what, over whopping 2,000 times! Nowadays, as popular as the ACA gets from Americans since its legislating, and guess what yet the GOP conservatives are trying to challenge ACA one more time*.
"More than 40 million Americans are covered by the ACA's subsidized marketplaces and Medicaid expansion, and a record-breaking 21.3 million people signed up for ACA marketplace coverage during the latest Open Enrollment in 2024"
Republicans just won't let ACA go after over 2,000 challenges. I believe if Trump and GOP should sweep in the November election, they will try to repeal ACA one more time perhaps as soon as next year.

Miami herald explains why project 2025 plan to eliminate NOAA is wrong. Due to threat of hurricanes, Florida and other states need trustworthy weather information in advance to prepare for survival against storms. Also foolish for project 2025 to propose eliminating education department, thousands of government jobs and restricting abortions.

Ironically, category two Hurricane Helene is heading to Florida today. Helene may gather it's strength to a Category 4 later today as it makes landfall on Florida Panhandle. Project 2025 obviously neglects the severity of earth's nature disasters.

trump's Project 2025 (pseudo-fascism) is very short-sighted if those idiots think the US is better off WITHOUT NOAA

Helene's catastrophic 140 mph winds is the first known Category 4 storm to hit Florida’s Big Bend region since 1851 from record book.
Florida Wakulla County Sheriff Jared Miller said in a Facebook post. "There has not been a storm of this magnitude to hit Wakulla in recorded history."
“Helene is a very dangerous hurricane...."--senior director of forecasting operations Dan DePodwin, AccuWeather.*
Hurricane Helene could cause billions of dollar damage and God forbid human casualties upon it's blitz through Florida, Georgia, Carolinas, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Only silly Project 2025 tries to eliminate National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) for the wrong footing.

Hurricane Helene up to this point has caused over 50 storm-related deaths and estimate economy damage of 95-110 billions US dollar. It's among the costliest storms in US history.

Yep. VERY unfortunate.
But according to Marjorie Taylor Greene, the entire disaster is all the democrats fault because they can control hurricanes and direct them to attack red states only!

And Project 2025 wants to eliminate NOAA, US is better off without NOAA?

Majority of climate scientist believe in global warming is caused by human activities.

This tropical storm has become a hurricane, named Milton. Milton could strengthen to a category 3 major hurricane when it makes landfall on the central Florida's Gulf coast around this Wednesday.
According to some climate scientists, major hurricanes nowadays have 20% more moisture than before. Flood causes more severe human casualties and property damage than wind.
