Coming up: the GOP Keystone Cops Circus & CLOWN show is going to pass a bill making murder illegal!
This will prove that they are serious about fighting crime and they alone stand for law and order!
Right! That'll show everyone!
Or the GOP CLOWN CIRCUS can pass a law that makes it illegal to set fire to high rise residential buildings!
Nobody could possibly deny they are the party of law & order and sound reasoning after they do that!

Republicans BLOCK Child Tax Credit Keeping 500,000 Kids in Poverty¡ªStudy
NEWSWEEK -
Research shows that a tax policy bill shot down OF COURSE by Senate Republicans this week would have helped bring 500,000 children out of poverty, according to the Center for Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP)
On Thursday, August 1, Senate Republicans blocked the Tax Relief for American Workers and Families Act, with 48 voting in favor to 44 opposing. It needed 60 votes to pass, in which case it would have expanded child tax credit (less poverty) and allowed tax breaks for businesses!!

To bad some of that Ukraine money couldn't have stayed here to support the parents, I mean kiddos.... There's money everywhere but spread in places that are mind boggling
Its quite clear you have no idea why we need to help ukraine. You must want putin just to roll over ukraine and then move onto another country to roll over. Not stop dictator putin is bad for our country.
You do know ukraine has very very important raw materials that the world uses. Do you really want putin taking those over. As just 2 examples 50 percent of the worlds neon and krypton gas is supplied by ukraine which is used for making semi conductors. But hey fuck it, lets just let some piece of crap dictator take control of that. Some of you just cant see the big picture or just just dont want to.

Trump proposal of no tax on social security is a scam according to Center for responsible federal budget. Low income seniors receive no benefit but lower tax revenue would worsen insolvency for federal finance, medicare and social security in the future. Reducing benefits could throw millions of seniors into poverty.

Yea I dint know Help ukraine? Or Help Americans? Which do you choose?
you help both genius. I actually feel sorry for you. You really should take your talents to some political website. Why waste them here on us peons.
If the world doesnt protect the world from crazy dictators like putin, then guess what? We might end up not having people here in our own country to help.
Dont worry your idol will win the election and then he will wave his magic wand and the whole world will turn into a glorious replica of Heaven (which am still surprised trump hasnt said he created it, yet)

So helping Ukraine after the first initial aide dilutes what NATO represents. If you help non NATO members out of trouble then where do you draw the line?
You can't help everyone and getting into war with Russia in a fight that has nothing to do with us is nonsense. You do realize Russia is trying to take back land and territory that once belonged to them. correct? How does this have anything to do with the US?
So if Mexico started a war with the US to take backs its land that it took from them, then non NATO members should assist the US? there are a number of countries this applies to.
We are talking about a non NATO member and a country that cannot become a member, in part, due to its government corruptness. So you are assisting a government that is corrupt and giving them billions of dollars while you and your cronies are complaining about a child tax credit and adding more poverty to the poverty stricken Americans.
So, which is it, do you help the poor Americans or do you show America that you do not care about it and would rather spend billions in helping Ukraine fight a war that will only end once Russia decides it ends?
Russia will not quit until they decide to quit. It will not be Ukraine that defeats them or the US or anyone but Russia themselves. Who cares if they get their land back that was once there. It's not a US problem, it is a Russia/Ukraine problem. I was never opposed to the initial aide, but this is way beyond an initial aide and it will never stop....Russia will not be defeated, ever...even if they back out it will not be because they were defeated it will be because they decided to quit...did no one pay attention to the cold war and how long it lasted...Russia can sustain decades of fighting and all it will do at this point is cripple the US by way of funding a war that it is not fighting in...Ukraine is a lost cause...too bad most of you can't see that...
So I ask again, where are your priorities-Ukraine or America?

Of the approximate 16 million children who would have benefited in the first year, half live in families that would have gained $630 or more, and 25 percent live in families that would have benefited from $1,400 or more.

...But they will FORCE a teenage rape victim to full term
Earlier this year, CBPP's Chuck Marr, an expert on federal tax policy, told Newsweek: "This bipartisan proposal rightly focuses on the roughly 19 million children who today are left out of the full Child Tax Credit because their families' incomes are too low. This proposal would increase the credit for more than 80 percent of these children ¡ªabout 16 million children¡ªlifting as many as 400,000 children above the poverty line in the first year and making an additional 3 million children less poor."

@Zeus4par
Hard to believe, but either they never heard of hitler (the real Adolf, I don't mean trump) or they are willfully ignoring those events which ultimately led to the cruel deaths of over 70 million+ (mostly from ALLIED nations!)
Same thing with appeasing any bully and letting him get what he demands. What next?
Same for giving into extortion by terrorists.....or kidnappers demanding a ransom.
Those with a backbone say "That's enough! It stops here!!!"
If a large drunken bully was seen beating a woman (or child) on the street as she cries in severe pain, I for one would be proud, DAMN PROUD, of any man (myself included) or woman who jumps in to intervene (protecting the woman or child) and assail that phuckingBULLY -- even though the altercation is NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS per se, and the rescuers have nothing to gain personally
For that ideal I am equally proud of the Biden admin now.... and ftm any previous admin which acted morally in a similar manner.
I have nothing but utter contempt and disdain for any cowards who would watch from their windows (thinking they don't want to get involved in other people's business because "we have our own family to think about") as the bleeding woman (or child) is being mercilessly pummeled

Trump tax and spending plan would increase federal deficits by $4-5.8 trillion in 10 years according to University of Pennsylvania analysis. Whereas Harris plan would increase deficits by $1-2 trillion in 10 years. Committee for a responsible federal budget watchdog found that Trump increased national debt twice as much as Biden in 10 years. Senate finance committee gives Trump a F grade for his lousy economic plan.
