I am double shocked that another solid poster from the Right has been banned from the very much hallowed pages of Covers!! At some point in time there will be only posters from the ridiculous Left inside the politics forum of Covers!
I¡¯m calling bullshit . That take is lazy as hell . Solid poster ? Get real . I¡¯m all for a man to speak his beliefs but homeboy was just straight up ridiculous with how he went about it .
Every post that he made was a near identical carbon copy of his others . He¡¯d repeat his little not so special ¡° go to ¡° phrases over and over again and offered very little in the way of formidable discussion .
For you to call him a solid poster is like saying a .143 hitter with 6 homers and 22 RBI in 432 plate appearances is a solid middle of the order bat on a contending team .
It¡¯s Hogwash and then you captured the residual water falling off of that pig and tried to feed it to me cold as ¡° pork soup . ¡°
Blech . I pity the fool as the weight of my gold chains is only exceeded by that of my boulder sized scrotum sack of power . You might be dancing on the sun , but with the way that you expressed your thoughts here it leads me to believe that you got there by false measures and that you are simply hallucinating by way of consuming psylocibyn or you got into your wife¡¯s spice rack and sniffed up all of her nutmeg .
the second part of what you said was real as hell though and on point like a motherfucker . So I¡¯ll give you a 5.7 rating for this post that consists of almost an even split between fantasy and reality .
You shoulda just went at least a little Guns of the Navarone on that coastal property owning oddball who suffered the detriment of antiquated thinking without even the slightest ability to change or adapt to the constantly evolving theatrics that are happening on this floating rock in outer space that we call our home .
it woulda got you at least a 7 . Shenanigans .

@THEMUGG Yes and look at the immediate black and white partisan messages that followed the first one. The OP is not the usual rinse and repeat thread creator but the immediate responses are more telling than the first message itself, including yours.
As is yours.

So me saying that messages and threads should be respectful and considerate, that keeping the rules is the only issue...that there is no TRUTH in what we see here, there is no black and white where one party is right and the other wrong, that is partisan?
I dont care if you like Trump or Biden or you are GOP or DEM, dont care. I care only about how people interact, the posts and threads add value and are constructive, non-partisan and considerate of whatever view and point being made. Its ok to disagree and to have a different perspective but we do not see much of that and we need much more.
Your opinions on left vs right and the results here are much much more about how people treat each other and the rules of the site than having a difference of opinion. One group here has a massive problem in keeping the rules and showing consideration and the motivations are to push another group down to elevate their ego and agendas, that is not adding value and breaks the rules over and over. With that being the situation the conclusions will continue until it is understood and followed about being respectful and seeking positive interaction. Politics isnt about being correct and the other side being ground to a pulp in submission, it should be about finding common ground and learning from other perspectives with respect and civil discussion.

This sub forum is a representation of society in general.... there are those on both sides that are not interested in finding common ground. It is the very definition of identity politics. Which is why I have harped on the INTOLERANCE of both the left and right RADICALS. You see, their goal is personal, they only identify through their warped political nature.
The "group" that only cuts & pastes & responds to their 3 imaginary friends are the very definition of this intolerance. They are not interested in discussion because they are not interested in, as you put it, "finding common ground and learning from other perspectives". They are no better than the radicalized religious warriors coming out of the woodwork in today's times....

The only difference is that the objective for mods is site rules so while what you say is true and Ive said that myself, it isnt breaking the rules so unless it goes in that direction we cant do more than suggest that they interact and associate more..and you have seen that discussed many many times.

Let¡¯s give Israel 14 billion and take it from the IRS so there is less chance of snagging Trump and all the bottom feeding tax dodging Cayman Island schmucks !
Senate and white house are likely to reject GOP new bill undermining funding for IRS to help tax cheats and worsen government deficits. Congressional budget office warns that deficits cannot be eliminated without more tax revenue and spending cuts. History shows increasing revenue works better than spending cuts.

BEIJING — Governor Gavin Newsom showed solidarity with President Biden today by absolutely face planting in front of world leaders. "It was a powerful statement of who we are as the Democratic Party," said Newsom aide Denise Heaney. "We stand with Biden, and we nose dive into concrete with Biden." Mr. Newsom performed the wipeout during an impromptu pick-up game against a few employees at an Apple factory outside Beijing. "You have your own basketball court? What incredible working conditions you kids have," said Mr. Newsom. "Someday, I will be sure all of the children working government jobs and living in government housing will also have basketball courts they can use when foreign leaders come to town. Anyhow, who's got a ball? Game on!" After showing off his ability to spin the basketball on his finger for less than a quarter of a second, Mr. Newsom attempted to put eight-year-old Hao Jung on skates with a determined drive to the rim. However, upon slightly glancing Hao's shoulder, Mr. Newsom decided it was time to support President Biden by bulldozing over a child and falling to the court like a baby giraffe. Mr. Newsom then bear-hugged Hao for an uncomfortably long amount of time, before getting back up and continuing the tour of the Apple facility.

Right¡... MAGAS hate the IRS. So do some powerful republicans as well.
For the MAGAS it¡¯s ¡°Why they takin my money?¡± For the powerful republicans it¡¯s ¡°If I can hide this crooked move, I might get away with it. Cutting funding from the IRS is the dumbest way to ¡°save¡± money. How that party got a reputation for being fiscally responsible is beyond me as it hasn¡¯t been true since the 80s at the latest.

Democratic Tax Cheats Outnumber Republican, 72% v. 28%
We came up with a list of 25 politicians who have been embroiled in tax scandals over the past two decades.
We devised the following points system to rank them:
• 3 points for each felony tax offense. • 1 point for each misdemeanor tax offense, or official ethics conviction. • .5 point for each felony tax indictment. • .25 point for each misdemeanor tax indictment.
And, because a Congressional tax scandal garners more negative attention than a mayoral tax scandal, we also took the level of public office into account:
• 1 point for a state legislator or mayor. • 3 points for a U.S. representative, statewide official, or federal lobbyist. • 5 points for a governor or presidential nominee.
Finally, because come sentencing time the courts tend to favor defendants who plead guilty, we knocked off a point for the scofflaws who pleaded guilty. Ties were broken by the amount of taxes owed, if determinable, or by fine levied.
The verdict? Turns out Republicans have the bigger names—Jack Abramoff, Randy “Duke” Cunningham—but Democrats have the most tax scandals by a margin of 18 to 7. ... Republicans and Tea Partiers tend to shout the loudest when it comes to tax reform, and they’re also the most law abiding—when it comes to paying their taxes, anyway.

Meanwhile speaker Mike Johnson has never listed a bank account on his financial disclosure. In fact, on his newest disclosure he doesn¡¯t list a single asset at all.

How would you even know this about your accountants? I do not ever recall discussing politics with any of my accountants. I would think they would more or less fall in line with most other professions like that. I doubt Republicans are more drawn to accounting or that accounting converts more to being a Republican.

He¡¯s stating he personally hasn¡¯t ever met any accountants that are Democrats , but I have , and quite a few for that matter . To speculate with concrete certainty that something is the case solely based off of personal experiences is a losing proposition . Too many holes in that motherfucker to plug up . I think joepockets is a man of integrity though so I don¡¯t believe he was using that meely mouthed form of trying to prove a point . Good tidings gents . So the treasury should just print the extra $14 billion as usual?
Do you think anything will change for "the rich" because the IRS threw more money in the pot? No, they'll continue to use expensive accountants that know every loophole. That'll leave IRS agents to do what.....scrutinize those that buy/sell on ebay? Does it really make sense to spend billions to recover a few million?

Integrity has nothing at all to do with hyperbole or wrongness.
Or maybe he has just not met very many. But either way it is a bad inference.

Congressional budget office estimates cutting $14.3 billion from IRS would worsen deficits by $26.8 billion over next 10 years by reducing tax revenue. IRS funding brings in more revenue than it costs by a ratio of roughly two to one.

The people of New York will have to get rid of George Santos because the complicit cowards in the House don't have the cajones to do so.
They are following the trump playbook....if the perpetrator is a republican and he's caught committing repeated fraud just leave him be then blame Democrats for everything, especially Joe Biden.
