@Tressel33 Jim Tressel would be so disappointed
exactly. You just have to follow the script as best as you can. It's not the players in on it, it's the refs.

Yes they did!. I agree with you.
Hard to believe the fellow thinks it's not rigged.

I find it intriguing now that I care to look¡¡
KC plays both Tampa Bay and New Orleans in KC, coming-up this year.
Wouldn¡¯t it be generous if KC beat both of those (2) NFC South teams ULTIMATELY HELPING ATLANTA FALCONS make the playoffs?
huh?
I mean¡.wouldn¡¯t the end product for Arthur Blank and the entire Atlanta Falcons organization be to make the playoffs, extend their season, added revenue from a possible home game.
They are all scratching each others backs!

Early in this season we've seen more strange things than I can remember, mind boggling coaching decisions, questionable if not horrible penalties or missed penalties too. Need to bring back PI reviews, called or not called, it's just too critical of a play. I've been fortunate to be on the right side of questionable and bad calls or decisions but been on the wrong side in a couple games recently, it's frustrating, takes the enjoyment out of it and I've been doing this a long time. That it coincides with all this legal sports betting does raise an eyebrow though I don't believe games are fixed, maybe just the overall quality of the game has taken a step back. Fans want enjoyment but equally as much we want some level of consistency, be it coaching or officiating, preferably both. The league will lose fans if they haven't already, just my two cents.

Well said! My wagers on the game last night were minimal $20 on Atl +3 and $20 on Atlanta ML. So, I didn¡¯t lose much money, but the simple fact that I knew the HC of the Falcons was going to go for it on 4th down and not kick the FG. I knew he wasn¡¯t going to do the logical thing and that is what hurts! Going for it on 4th down, does that not tell your defense and defensive coordinator that you have no faith in them to get the ball back??

Just because you won your $10, 50, 100 dollars doesn't mean it's fixed.
The coaching and officiating are so suspicious, it makes you wonder.
Why don't the officials measure after every play? Officials pick up the ball and place it down.
With today's technology, it would only take a few seconds to get the placement of the ball correct on every play.

Uh-huh. I noticed that also. Unless Morris had no confidence in his defense. I thought they were playing pretty well though. I would have went for the field goal. Hmmmmmm

You can¡¯t win with these people. the public team is the team that actually covered and yet they still cry fixed. Usually it¡¯s when the favourite doesn't cover they cry fixed. Only on covers

On top of that, how about running an actual play if you don't kick the FG, that will actually have a chance of hell in working. Can't make this shit up.

Not sure what you're talking about. I didn't have any money on that game what so ever. No reason you don't kick the FG with over 4 minutes left in the game and all of your timeouts remaining. It get's it within 2 points, and let's hope your defense whose played well the whole game, can step up one more time.
Then, look what happens, they did get the ball back, and come down, to where if they would have kicked the FG a few minutes earlier, they would be in position of winning the game. Not so sure how people don't understand this? You can't fault people to be having some thoughts about this even if you didn't have money on that game, also take into account what the spread of the game was as well, and how that would have affected it.

Listen, I don't want to keep beating a dead horse's ass
All I can say is I coached high school football for 35 years. I went to probably over 200 clinics in my lifetime, worked Ohio State camps under both Cooper and Tressel, went to Iowa and studied Norm Parker's defense at Iowa, and spent time with the V Tech staff on the Bear defense in my day. I even had beers with Buddy Ryan at a clinic in Cincinnati. What a night! He was the guest speaker and was drunk off his ass. He shut it down so we could go drink more beer.
In not one of my experiences in all of these scenarios and conversations did rigging, scripted, or fake football come up at any level (college/pro). Why? Because it is simply not true. Think about it. If it does exist it's only a matter of time before it comes out or is proven. With gambling and fantasy, can you imagine the lawsuits? Why would the NFL or gambling sites want to risk that? They already have it good! The NFL is expanding worldwide. They don't need to script games. People in Brazil or Cambodia will still go and watch Carolina plays the Browns if they come.
This is my experience. Just because you see a coach on the sidelines on Saturday or Sunday doesn't make them an expert. They are human, fallible, and make mistakes also. I watch games too and question decisions and calls, but by no means do I think a conspiracy is involved. This includes refs!
I question my three daughter's decisions all the time, but I don't think they are out to get me or are doing shit on purpose. At least I hope not...
