Been pretty quiet around here. Have all conservative posters gone to Parler?

Scary thought. These social media echo chambers that everyone seems to lock themselves in are extremely dangerous. Discourse is still important. Even if you feel that other posters are complete jack wads. I'm pretty middle of the aisle so i've had disagreement and debate with those on both sides of it. I've also built rapport and what I would like to even consider friendship, or atleast kinship, with those on both sides.

It's isolationism . they isolate into obscure ways and aren't as vocal. Now that q anon has cinvinces their followers and that big brother has breeched their isolationism and discovered that most dwell in their mommies cellar and dealing with the most outlandish in terms of the dark ovetlirx has hijacked their government pulling the strings of hia puppet Biden. And the FBI is out to ruin the comfort they have achieved... Really when did Nintendo 3 super Mario brothers become vintage....

Anywho their are other means to respond and content against the main stream commercial news establishments...

They seek where they are accepted...

With othsr like minded cellar dwellers in their mar house...

Three basic reasons explain why it is "quiet around here" now....though I would add that it is
not only quieter but also frankly much more PEACEFUL...

1/  Except for the SuperBowl, football is over, and that is THE big draw to all the sports-gambling
websites including Covers. Many lose interest when football is done and check into Covers
much less frequently, therefore less activity in Politics forum too.

2/  The big draw in this forum was the disgraced former president and the runup to the election.
A number of pro-trump (pro-fascism) and anti-trump (anti-fascism) posters left the fray when it
was clear trump had LOST and democracy had WON.
Significant dropoff in posts by November 7 and then again after Biden inauguration.

3/  Fewer posts - and it is more PEACEFUL - because one particular member is not here
provoking others with insults directed AT MEMBERS, inflammatory and FALSE statements,
his vile conspiracy theories, his bigotted hatred, AND "inciting" other rightwingers to the same.

We can politely discuss shared points of view and/or disagreements, without ALL THAT CRAP.

I have engaged you and Kelly with no less then 8 points proving your hypocrisy only to get the usual "COPY AND PASTE" rhetoric. Never a reponse to the questions asked. Here's your chance to prove me wrong. Will see if your word is worth anything.

 Is Parler still a thing?    Last I heard they didn't have a platform. 

Except for this social media here, I am not on any other so I don't keep up with whatever is going on there. 

But I agree in part with your sentiment about "social media echo chambers" as that is an inherent negative aspect.

People believe what they WANT to believe....and social media is ripe for the viral spread of false or misleading information that would conform to what various segments WANT to believe....thus reaffirming THEIR beliefs.....thus increasing divisions

 First Blood was the shit. I sometimes channel John Rambo on my travels through the northwest even though I can almost guarantee that shit was filmed in British Columbia. Any time a TV show of film takes place in the Northwest it's filmed in B.C. They film a ton of shit up there in general.

Bipartisan will pass legislation but Nancy violated can not get passed that the republicans won't convict Trump in an unconditional impeachment ceremony.

Primary them all out. Unless you have weighs and means to run for public office disbar the losers that must borrow to attain higher office.
