Yeah saw that as well Rod but the Wildcats have been gelling nicely lately and I just think the atmosphere, pressure and lack of talent on the Taipans will be the difference tonight.

Taipans have played 2 strange games in Perth this season. Actually should have won both games only to lose SU and ATS in OT
Rod good to see you still around.....Those games were played when the wildcats line up was stilled unsettled or when Cotton(latter OT game)only just joined the team & Damo just returned from injury & team was trying to mesh.
How come you don't post plays anymore bud?

Completely agree with D-Play's quote here. The last 2 games against the Taipans at home I don't think is a true indication of where both teams currently are. Taipans massive win to actually reach the finals last road game vs 36ers was a big one but they were down big time at HT and then the 36ers fell asleep. I don't expect the Wildcats to fall asleep, not under Gleeson.

Well it go there, just.. Perth had a nice lead and typically let the foot off the gas. It amazes me that one player (Cotton) continously shoots 3's when he is cold yet they had Wagstaff who was on fire and Cotton would rather jack up 3's (missed 3 consecutive) than get the ball to Wagstaff. Anyways, a cover is a cover...
Another nice week, 3-1 and 41-17 for the year across both leagues..
Next game for the 36ers vs Hawks game is Thursday. Line is currently -5.5 36ers. Interesting line. Same line tonight (it closed at -7.5 tonight but opened at -4.5) but I would have to say, the Hawks are a much better team than the Taipans are.. This line intrigues me and needs some more researching. Beveridge is a decent coach and so is Wright so this will be a great game..
The WNBL also tips off this Saturday with both semi's playing and then for some very strange reason, they don't play Game #2's for 6 days and then if Game #3 is needed, they play that 2 days after Game #2. Very strange schedule..
Until then everyone, take care and talk soon
