I had chiefs -7 but i knew the slide was going to happen when mahomes took off.
it is what it is.. honestly we wouldnt be talking about that slide if they didnt call some random phantom holding call that gave them a first down. That fourth quarter was probably the ugliest quarter of the season, and we were all setup for a classic ending that just became a flag fest

How about Ertz blatantly dropping a TD which would have ensured they covered against the Niners. Let me guess, that wasn¡¯t rigged either. The NFL doesn¡¯t even care anymore and that¡¯s why the media keeps mentioning the word script and they have script commercials. They know the fanboys will think they are just mocking the people that says it is scripted. But fading the public for prime time games is a must.

people need to believe in fanatical things like conspiracy theories, rigged games, gods, some secret all powerful thing or group that's in charge of everything..
people do not want to be accountable for simple, boring things that happen all the time, like dropped passes, smart players doing smart things, etc..
we invent myths. it's part of who we are. life would be too boring without them..

Also, putting 11 tired guys on defense in a clutch 4th quarter situation is a big risk of injury. Vs kneeling 3 times with no risk. Saving his defense from having to play an extra 10 snaps.

That's it right there. And I'll bet his defense appreciated that, too. Patrick Mahomes couldn't possibly care less about the pointspread when he's out there trying to finish off a win.

I bet you dumbshits think Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are a real thing. Kelce sold out for the bag, thank you Bud Light and Pfizer. Fuck TS and all this NFL bullshit. One think I respect about teams is when they know what the spread is and cover it when they can. They know their fans bet the fucking spread, why are you not trying to score?
FYI Ravens and Chiefs has same Point Differential currently and the Bills have them both doubled up.

I¡¯ll ask my friend who is on the D Line. My guess is let them eat, pin their ears back and rush Zach Wilson for some extra stats. These guys actually like to play. You act like it¡¯s Tom Brady.

For the record, Sunday night home dogs are 71-69-5 ATS. Road favorites cover about half the time, and when they don't it's not a fxcking baseless bullshxt conspiracy.

So wrong? So you think the better odds are the jets scoring a td..... getting a onside kick and scoring another td all in 1 min then the odds of fumbling the snap and jets scoring a td to win the game? Yeah you a special kinda stupid

For what? They are considered one giant business partnership and as a sports entertainment league. The only two other sports that classify as sports entertainment is wwe and roller derby. This was discussed when that jet fan tried suing the league and took them to court. The world is a business and the nfl is one of the biggest money makers around. Marketing, tv contracts, now Taylor Swift is going to bring in a whole other dynamic.

Look at it like this….You have a 60 minute game plus halftime of 15 minutes. Take away some time for timeouts and other stuff but that leaves you with potentially 105 minutes to make money on non football related things like ads. This is where all companies want their advertisements because it’s when the most viewers are watching. Prime time games are the biggest money makers.

There wasn't enough time for the Jets to return a kick off, score a TD and then recover there on sides kick with NO TIME OUTS and less then a minute left. A Touch down would have put the Chiefs up by 10! So in reality your comment is the dumb one. I have been around football my entire life, played D1 Football, have multiple close friends including my best friend and godfather of my son who played 11 years in the league and it has been discussed multiple times how things like this occur. If you know football, tell me another time that you had seen Patty throw pillows like the interception and the other 2 passes that should have been intercepted that were literally yards away from the intended receiver. Hell, even Kelce looked at him after one of the passes with a look of disbelief! Even the line was set lower then most people thought it should be from the jump and you can watch it continuously go down as millions were being dumped on the Chiefs minus the points. So, you don't question a Bit when the all of the factors I mentioned earlier in regards to not enough time left on the clock, Jets having no time outs, and then knowing that a Touch Down would have covered the point spread and put the total over......That doesn't make you slightly concerned?
It's been probably 6 years since I posted on these groups regularly, I couldn't remember which email my account was under so I created a new account just to reply to this post LOL. I think it's dumb for someone to not consider the possibility that the fix was on??
Let's Get It ????

I middled my bet because I had doubts I had the Jets +4 for the fourth quarter when Mahomes took off I thought for sure he was gonna run it in and then he slid and I laughed. No he didn¡¯t do it because of the pointspread he did it because they¡¯re professionals he slides they take three knees game over he gets in special teams Hass to come out kick the extra point special teams has to come out and kick off. The defense has to come out and go three or four more please for what I have to do is kneel down. These guys are big, strong, physical man. Anybody can get hurt at any time what if Mahomes got the touchdown , and then a player got injured on the kick off. Oh, that wasn¡¯t rigged not at all.

Either Mahomes crosses the line standing up or he would have needed to dive head first. Regardless, that was an injury waiting to happen with that DB barreling down on him. Down 23-20? Mahomes takes the chance. Up 23-20, he's not risking injury for a stat.
People just need to turn off the television sets, make the bet and check the final after the game has been played. Lot less stress doing it that way...

Sliding at the end of the game was not where the game was shady. Its Mahommes throwing picks on throws no where near the receiver and with little velocity on the ball. These were not throws made by a professional of his caliber. Up that much in the first half and lobbing softballs in the middle field that me or you could have intercepted? Once maybe, twice no way. Zero pressure and just giving the ball back to the other side. Either he was injured and didnt disclose it or he was tanking.

RudyJ- Made a lot of money on this game as well, both halves as a matter of fact so I guess in the end who cares whether people believe there is 100% integrity in the game. It doesnt affect my bankroll. When you have been doing it long enough you recognize the shade and welcome these situations. Good luck to all on the boards regardless.
