In the NBA, there have been a total of 8 Triple Doubles in Playoff games. Jokic has 4 of them. That is insane. Bill Russell played against 6 foot white guys.

Great stat, I guess at the end of the day it¡¯s apples to oranges¡. But for me, Joker is the best big man I¡¯ve seen.

Abdul-Jabbar not even mentioned? He might be the best big man ever.

Jokic will ballerina any defensive player in the post. No one can cover him. Jokic will step out to the 3pt line and bury three’s. He can shoot midrange. There is no where on the floor he can’t play.
Kareem - Nope
Wilt - Nope
Shaq - Nope couldn’t even hit FT’s
Hakeem - Nope
Bill - Nope
Who else?
There has NEVER been a 6 -11 NBA player who can do all Jokic does. That’s why he is the greatest.

Kareem absolutely is the best scoring big man and shoulda been mentioned.

He's a great system player. Put him on any other team/system and you won't hear much from him.
His team is built to make up for his terrible defending (too slow moving his feet) and on offense this Nuggets team goes as far as Jamal Murray takes them. No Murray = no wins for them. The way he plays the pick and roll and is so clutch is what takes them over the top.
The way Jokic gets all the praise makes me believe that Murray is the most underrated player in the league.

Another reason it¡¯s apples to oranges¡.Joker plays and thinks more like a guard than a big man.
There¡¯s no question he¡¯s the MVP yet again¡no one in this NBA is better at dominating a game. Sorry Tatum, Gilgous Alexander, Freak and Luka¡.

He¡¯s the best player ever. People not ready for that conversation though. We just watched lebron and curry in their primes. Taking jokic over 2016 curry, and 2012 bron.

100%. I've seen them all and Jokic would certainly be the most versatile big man I've seen and a truly great player. But Kareem, the former Lew Alcindor, was the best I ever saw. His sky hook was the most dominant shot ever. 6 time MVP, 6 time NBA champion, 19 time NBA All Star, 11 time NBA All defensive team, etc., etc., etc. Incredibly dominant and the best player I ever saw and I'm a NC Tar Heel fan who has great admiration for one Michael Jordan. But if I had to pick one player in his prime to start a team, it's a no brainer, hands down, Kareem.

@MB67
Kareem had a higher career FG% than Jokic currently has. And sure, Jokic is a better passer, but Kareem was miles and miles above Jokic defensively.
Kareem averaged 35 and 17 as a rookie in the Playoffs.

I workedfor 2 nba teams from 88-93 while in college.
My buddy played in Orlando with Shaq.
I love Shaq, Dream, Bill Russell, KAJ, but no one has the combo of scoring, rebounding, passing and stepping out to 24 feet and drilling it like Joker.
He's foreign, white but he's an all time great.
