wall street I know dealers, stickmen, boxmen could slow the game down very easily. However after 20-30 rolls there is probably so much $$$ in play it takes longer to payoff each roll. A holiday weekend no less

I kind of heard about this roll a while back, but didn't believe it and never checked the story out.
This last weekend I was in LV for my annual Golden Arm Crap tourney at the CAL. The CAL has been running this tourney since Stanley Fujitake held the dice for 3 hr 6 min back in 89 during the Memorial day weekend. The story on that roll was he never 7'd out. He quit because he was too exhausted to go on. The table reportedly lost a million. The maximum bet at the Cal was 3K.
In 1990 I was at the CAL on Memorial Day weekend and on the same table that Stanley rolled on, I rolled the dice for 1 hr 45 min. How do I know? Stanley told me so after. He was taking side bets that I would not break his record
This year they had a 1 hr 30 min roll that I missed out on Sunday because I was on the strip watching a show.
I did cash 2nd place in the tournament for 5k by placing a quarter chip on two aces on the last roll, missed 1st by $30 in chips. First place of 10k was won by a outsider who drew into the tourney with a ticket.
This is a must event for crap players, most of the Golden Arm members (players with 1 hr or more rolls at the Cal) are from Hawaii and are very savy crap players. There are usually many 1 hr rolls during the tournament weekend at either Main St Station or the Cal, the trick is to be on the right table when it happens. If there any crap players out there, mark the last weekend in April and head on down to the Cal for some great action.
Demauro's 4 hour roll is even more amazing, since it reportedly was only her second time ever throwing the dice.
Cheers

The employees are a reflection of the management.
This is why the Cal and Main St Station are my favorite crap destinations. The dealers and floor men are pretty lenient and rarely try to intimidate you or jinx your roll. I have several techniques when throwing dice depending on position and state of mind. My favorite is a high lob. This is not allowed anywhere except at the CAL or MS Station. Most of the time they allow me to throw the dice 2 feet above eye level. Oh by the way the Borgata, is also owned by Boyd Gaming. This is not a coincidence.
Another dice story....
I was at the Horseshoe and on a nice 40 min roll. Starting out with placing 26 across on the numbers I had parlayed it up to around $2000 on the numbers. During the roll, the pitt boss twice told me to bring the throw down and twice to hit the end of the table. I kind of laughed and assured him I would. Finally he came over to me and as I was picking up the dice he put his hand on top of mine, stopping me from picking up the dice and said this was the last time he was telling me to throw it lower. I told him OK take me down I quit. His mouth dropped as he stammered you can't quit, and your line bet ($25) stays. I told him fine, keep it and you shoot the dice. I did not change color, did not tip, stuffed all my pockets with chips, turned my back on the table and walked away, while the whole table just watched me in suspended total disbelief.8 months later I found him working at the the Cal and he was totally nice to me.

No seven out for 154 rolls........I play the numbers.......It would have taken a Mac truck to haul my winnings out....especially if i had been drinking.......and I would have.......a frickin lottery

It must have been a high limit game. and the shooter must have started the roll with at least a couple Gs. Yes, most dealers are pulling for you, if they have any brains.
And yes it does take a lot of time to pay 14 players off on basicly every roll of the dice, as they will be playing all the propositions. And then you always will get some squabbling between players on who bet what.
