Rio is off-strip as many others have mentioned.
Bally's might be a little nicer than Flamingo, but there's a lot more going on at and around Flamingo. IMO, Flamingo is the best location of any hotel in Vegas.
I stronlgy prefer to be on-strip and in the action, so I'd choose Flamingo.

best buffet in town
u just need a place 2 recharge and shower

Flamingo or Bally's if you interested in sportsbook.
If you stay at the RIO it's a long walk and a $15 cab ride.
I've lived here for over 20 years.

Another PS get a room with a strip view! Great view of Caesars and another good point for Flamingo - it's basically in middle of strip and not to far from Fashion Show Mall which your wife/girlfriend will love.

i was in vegas last super bowl... and damn what a place... went to the ufc fight and the super bowl party in the mgm.
every hotel sportsbook is quite the place during the superbowl. out of those 3.. maybe rio is your best bet... but its off the strip.. so kind of out of the way if you;'re staying there.
