Guys,

Sorry to interrupt your focus on UNC/FSU game, but I am going to Vegas for Super Bowl, and have to stay at one of these non 5 star hotels. Which one would you recommend? Thanks!

You aren't going to be at your hotel except to sleep, maybe. Craig Buchanan doesn't think it matters which hotel you stay in.

But, when CraigyB does go to Vegas he stays at Caesars, it's a classic.

I live here in Vegas, chose Rio. Its right across the street from Palms (younger crowd) and the Gold Coast (more locals go there).

Rio for sure!! You can't go wrong with an all suite hotel. It's off the strip but there are shuttles that go to and from for free. I've been in a room at Flamingo's and it was nothing special and don't know anything about Ballys.

I loved staying at the Rio! Only disadvantage is that it's off the strip a little, but you can catch a shuttle bus, takes no time. Party on the roof!

The Flamingo and Ballys are right in the middle of all the actionon the strip across from the Bellagio.(walking distance.
Rio is off the strip, west down flamingo , near the palms, much more ghetto surrounding area

...not to mention people get shot in the palms parking lot all the time.

Rio is off the strip. On the other hand I love the Palms and they normally have very good lines (sports). Be sure to sign up for a players card at the Palms if you plan on betting a decent amount.

1st off you can't go wrong with any of the 3 you mentioned. Personally, I'd stay at Bally's or Flamingo just because you can step outside and be right on the strip. Also, how long are you going to be there? If it's just a couple days then Rio, Gold Coast, and Palms will easily do with no travel. If its 4+ days I think it would get a little old and the shuttles a bit of a hassle.

But like I said you won't be upset at any of the choices. Have a great trip!

Rio is a little better then ballys. BUT location of ballys is 100 times better.

Ballys is the way to go, have a great trip.
