Great comment tilto, chock full of critical information.

What I say is the truth, bubbles can inflate until they pop, the underlying supply and demand do not support current prices, not even close. It is a ponzi, just make sure you are out before the trend dramatically reverses because it will.

the bubble hasn't even begun. I do hear your average joe at least noticing that Gold has been skyrocketing, but i don't think they really have a clue. if they throw a kiosk up at the mall for xmas time where you can buy 1/10th ounce coins, then i'll believe we are approaching froth. nowhere near that point now

let's see if they have enough eagles to get thru the year this year, or if we have a repeat of 09 where they run out of them before the year ends.

the bubble right now is in treasuries, not gold

funny how you claim what you say is truth, and then throw out wild accusation like "it is a ponzi, and the underlying supply/demand does not support". Are you claiming there is no demand for these metals? or that there is over supply?

Yep I think the retail froth is developing, I was at a small dining joint two days ago and right next door was a kiosk for gold and silver, chock full of what you just mentioned..fear propadanda, big spreads of course and the ability to buy very small increments or large.

Yes I do think that "real" demand does not exist, as investment speculation via ETF and inflation hedges are not tangible demand, rather a function of beta, and that will reverse. I do not see legitimate underlying demand for most commodities, rather a momentum speculative ETF-ish move.

It will be a bubble when everyone owns it and the mid , small cap and finally microcap producers/explorers take moon shots. When you get in a taxi and the guy tells you to buy Goldcorp like w/ tech, Oil, Real Estate etc.. Right now there is no bubble in site in fact the stock markets, real estate, car prices have all inflated much higher than gold prices the past 30 years. I don't want the US to fail but the truth is no paper currency has ever worked so why would now be any different? Ask the ancient Romans, Chinese or French. Or the Colonists, next the Confederates. more recently Mexico Thailand etc.. You cannot over issue money with nothing to back it up.

WSC do you realize the whole Gold market is worth less than a share or Google? Yet it's a bubble? Go out and short Gold buy puts and while you are at it do the same w/ Silver you will become extremely wealthy.

This year since after July metal has correlated with Stocks, and if the market corrects than Gold will plummet and the dollar will rise. The market is about go some time, but I don't know when exactly so you have to check the volume. The funny part is there is much volume yet it reach the old highs of 11,205. Do not buy Gold at this time for at leat until January.

usa.v on a nice move to start the week as well. was looking at that one for a small play on silver but really just want a stock where i can chant "U-S-A!" as the trade unfolds..lol

I like this stock. I think it will hit a buck. PRO.V up to .50

Volume has been picking up last couple weeks. Hope something is up. Maybee drill results coming out I hope. They just purchased a mine from BHV.V. The mine results are not compliant so they need to re analize with new drill results. Hope they are good and hope they come out soon.

I could go on all day but how are any of these names how are any of these companies comparable to stocks with no earnings that rely solely on Venture Capital and burn through cash faster than Obama's administration.
