I hope you went long CVS in addition to your puts and calls strategy. There certainly are no guarantees in stock picking, as things could go south with CVS if political intervention in health care happens to their disadvantage and lessens the long term outlook for their recent Aetna acquisition. I made this call a couple of months ago at $54 with the mindset that your downside risk was much less than the s&p500 overall risk, while the upside looked attractive.
Here we sit at $59 after the markets took a beating last week and CVS soared. The thesis is still in tact. This stock could easily add another 5-10% in a hurry.
RECOMMENDATION: Buy on any pullback.

If you are new to investing, go with a broad ETF. SPY would be my answer. Holding just a single stock is not a wise strategy. If you already held a basket of stocks, CVS is good. Your downside risk is in the 54 range with an upside to the high 60's. Several months ago I pointed out to this forum that CVS at 54 (+10%) had a very high probability to outperform the s&p(-6%) over the short run. Obviously, with a 3 month 16% disparity, that's going to be tougher from these entry points...but I still love CVS.

If you're not trading options here you missn out...CVS does the same thing every few days has a hard dip and then pumps back to near even and goes green next day.It tends to rip harder as Spy dips too.
Todays dip took us down to $61.10 already back over 61.80.. I'm playing the $62.50s since that's closest level to last high..Aug 30th exp date. Will sell this batch next time we hit 62.30+ and should
..I didnt even get the best price and I'm up nearly 30%
Before the last step up I flipped the $55 calls for several weeks hope we keep this level or slowly grind higher

Busy time of yr for us right now..got a store starting day after holiday weekend and then I'm heading back to Cadiz,Spain around 22nd of Sept.Should only be out a few weeks..17 days max prob.
Bought DWT at 6.68 the other day ended up adding in low 6s exited today at 6.72 not holding just in case they pop it come next week.
Driving season ending hoping this wasnt the last rally would love one more shot at DWT in the $5s..hell even another shot at $6 flat would work.
Gamble I know you dont take any advice on investing from here but load up some D if you see anything starting with a 5 will be good for a min 25% before first flakes fall.

Buck....CVS at 54 is now in the upper 60's and pushing 70. 5 months of time has made investors 22% on that call. I'm not playing options....know you are killing it with them on CVS but just ride that long position until it hits the 70's. QQQ is on the rise and will do well once Trump and Xi put the ink to their phase one agreement with China. I'm very bullish on the markets right now assuming all of the tariff talk is over with. It's raining money and getting ready to pour!

I will not miss the boat if OMER hits 11+ again. I know I talk a lot about the charts and technical data, but OMER always bounces hard off of the $10-12 range. I am keeping a close eye on this one.

Still in CVS 79 min target and even then prob still a hold..I think if you look at 1st half thread we talked about this one easily being able to move up 50% when we were looking at chart several months ago..that was low 50s and here we sit mid 70s
Wall,OMER had CMS rule against them getting permanent reimbursement for Omidria citing no peer reviewed studies..Omer quickly dropped one after ruling. They will get it next Oct/Nov IMO the numbers are in their favor..reduces side effects and less opioid use after.
This run has been insane just buy SPY calls!!There have been great opportunities elsewhere too.I was buying $25 Uber puts about 3 or 4 weeks out waiting for lockup to expire.Bought my 1st put when stock was still mid 30s.
Was also long Disney calls well in advance for Disney+ launch...both turned out to be huge trades for me.
Then theres ARWR pretty sure this was mentioned in 1st half thread and prob another one before that..had shares here since the teens and it's been a rocket last few days.Had $50 calls when news hit the other day took huge gains there but sold way early..it ran nearly double digits for two days.I had this one,Omer and ENPH called out on my channel in discord for accumulate and hold for yrs and this was one of my 1st posts on channel.Only Omer, the one I have the most confidence in has been a disappointment
Been trading UNG Dec 20 $21 calls and puts started buying calls this round in the .40s will keep adding, swinging these has been pretty easy.As long as NG doesnt break below 2.50 I'd say I could be out of these come Friday or early next week.
This is officially my light season now,no more full stores this yr we wrapped our last one up and no more ships this yr either.
