My biggest loss from betting or gambling was 10k on a stupid cruise from Long Beach to some sh*t town, Mexico. It wasn't even Vegas, how sad is that? Anyways, yeah ... if i could go back in time ... all I'd do is play low/mid LIMIT poker. Thatz it.

Every gambler must use Money Management:
You should bet less than 5% of your total bankroll per bet.
This rule is written in stone for sharp gamblers / pro gamblers.

The best bet for you is not to bet. Although over the years I have made a good profit, if I had the choice to go back in time and stop gambling I would. It has nothing to do with money for me. It's about the relationships I have ruined because I spend a lot of time on gambling. My ex gf hated me gambling. She put up with it because she loved me more than herself. She started complaining about it because of the rage I would go in after a bad beat. It seems as if I get moosed more than anyone, but I'm sure everyone feels like that. She said she had no problem with it if I just put in my bet and check the score or watch sportscenter later. But thats the problem, I would just watch all the game, constantly check the scores on the Ipad no matter where we were. We could be at dinner, movies, at home doing something and I was always checking scores. Honestly it is just a horrible addiction all together and if you lose money it gets a lot worse. When I got out of jail of course I started to gamble again and everyone that loves me are furious with me. As my ex and I were trying to work on our relationship these past 2 months, I thought it didn't matter that I was gambling, but I know she took note of that and is one of the reasons she is pushing away from me.
Some people end of hating sports at the end of all this, which is horrible honestly. I love sports, I believe there are a lot of life lessons in sports and looking up to greats like Kobe and Jordan can teach you a lot about life. Gambling can never ruin that for me, but for many it can. If you don't have kids or a wife and have a solid bankroll and make good money doing it then just move to vegas live in a house and gamble. Otherwise you should stay away if you can't keep sports gambling to a minimum just for fun.

Thank you bruh
As an adult, every decision you make is very important. If you keep running away from the world, it will show up at your front door when you are least ready for it. This world is too fast and competitive to make bad decisions. Just like when you are driving in a city with many one way turns. You make the wrong turn and it takes forever to get back to where you started or where you wanted to go initially. This is just like life. Getting back to where you started or where you wanted to be is so difficult once you make a one detremental decisions.
