man missed the typo 13.5 ....still like Banksjl assessment of the game ...makes sense ! Murray is big on timing and pressure will be an issue he does not play well in big games and he will be like a deer in headlights with clowney keyed in on him ...The loss of mitchell is big returns and receiving... They also will be out coached ...taking the 3.5 Georgia always escapes bama and lsu in sec play ....ends up getting one of the two in sec championship and they get smashed . I am bias, but maybe i have a good argument to take the points & USC.
Granted Clemson had an entire off season to prepare for UGA's rookie defense, and Clemson had all the advantages in that game going for them... i think USC offense will be their best defense.
I also know Aaron murray is an excellent QB, but UGA is too depleted or lacking experience to keep with the cocks. i think it can be a close game or the cocks can pull away from dawgs by 10-14 as well. USC is the most balance team in the SEC.
Our backup QB could start for any top team in the SEC, and as the season goes on you will see & believe this. all and all...rookie defense, coming off a tough loss, and UGA maybe a little over hyped bc of Murray & Gurley (which are legit top tier players). But you cant hang your hopes on just these 2 guys in SEC competition.
I know we lost a lot on defense, but not as much as people think. last week was 105 f on the field at game time. this week, looking at about 86 f at game time. cant wait to see all the haters on clowney last week, bite their tongue. EVERYBODY LAST WEEK WAS GASSED from the temp.
USC takes the 4th straight game from UGA. All we have to do is get them to 3rd & long (they're missing their best WR) & then we pound the rock in that virgin defense.
USC to win out right...yes i am bias, but i follow UGA very closely bc its our 2nd top rival. the only thing uGA has going for them is home field advantage...granted in NCAA, that is huge but, all of you go look at Aarron murrays record against top 10 teams...its like 6 & 5 or something very close.
also, dont forget... we have this game circled on our schedules every yr. dont think for a min, players werent taking it easy last week to prepare for this game. HELL, WE DIDNT EVEN PLAY OUT BEST TE, who happens to be one of the better TE in the SEC. he starts on this Sat. UGA will be exposed as a fraud due to having such an excellent QB.
