Expecting Connecticut to win tonight but have no interest in laying 6 1/2 - 7.
What I do have interest in is the total, as we have two teams who have elite rim protectors, so nothing should come easy inside.
Nerves should play a small part early as both teams look to feel each other out and wasn¡¯t impressed with the lackluster play of Purdue point guard Bradon Smith against the Alabama pressure
Therefore, I¡¯ll side with the¡
UNDER 146

Nope. The OVER is the play. Both teams have scoring offenses. The points will add up. In addition, lots of free throw attempts tonight to. Purdue gets into the 70s . UCONN gets into the low mid 80s..

There's no denying that Purdue's shooting percentage from deep is impressive at first glance but they have benefited have having wide open looks because Edey gets double teamed so often
I think Connecticut should have enough success playing Edey straight up, thus putting added pressure on the rest of the guys to carry a heavier load.
Don't kid yourself into thinking that the wide open, spot up 3 even compares to having to create a contested look from deep off of the dribble.

Good luck. Something has to give. FT's will decide the spread imo. I have UCONN as the best team (as I'm sure everyone does lol) but doesn't mean they cover the number. Lots of people on the UNDER it seems and championship games usually favor that as nerves also come into play.
